I’ve been looking for objects for a Planet of the Apes park. Maybe with just a boat ride. The one landscape looks perfect for it with the desert like ground and the high cliffs in the background. I started off with water in the middle and a small spaceship sinking at an angle in the middle. I found a map online on what the area in the 1968 movie (and the 1970 movie Beneath) looked like. It was actually filmed somewhere in the western US. They stuck a nuked New York there and had an underground city with ruined NY buildings and abandoned subway station, and a race of mutant humans lived there and worshipped a doomsday bomb in an abandoned church sanctuary. I watched some of the old apes movies for free on youtube recently. Then I started planet coaster, loaded the desert biome, and boom, thought this looks similar to the landscape in planet of the apes. I wonder though if planet zoo has animated apes and desert and jungle elements? I think I’ll stick with planet coaster for now.
