Aurelia Military Division Au-M-2 Da'hl

Designed in the early eras of the division, the M-2 is a Light Scout that saw retrofits while meeting its original design criteria.

Heavy armor is relatively thin, but the vehicle is intended to traverse rougher terrain, utilizing elevated front and rear pairs of wheels. Gyroscopes handle the instances it became airborne. 3 batteries offer reasonable time outside the base perimeter, but a small reactor is available to recharge batteries in extended range operations. An oxygen tank and vent allow extended operations on foot or on wheels, but still require a base to refill in environments lacking oxygen. A rear connector allows docking with the base for loading, and a rear camera is provided. A beacon and antenna are available for communication and location, but off by default.

It is armed with two gatling turrets at the top, filling roles for light anti-air engagements and pursuit. 2 medium cargo containers allow reasonable capacity for the turrets or foot operations, while a small container links the turrets together should either medium container is damaged. While an armored vehicle, missile fire can effectively destroy the armor and its packed core, and its cockpit is vulnerable to critical shots.

More recent retrofit projects included the introduction of the repair projector that speeds field repairs, a feature developed by the Astroworks branch for their fighter craft.
