Besides being a healthy serving of points fairies are required for two unlocks, RIP by RPG (Rescue 50 fairies) and Kamikaze Magic (Rescue two fairs in one game).

if you are an unlock ♥♥♥♥♥ like myself these are going to be a necessity

Some notes before we get into it.

The Familiar
If you are lucky enough to find him/her in a create or dropped by an enemy then he/she will brake open fiary blocks if you come across them.

Most fairy blocks are commonly in the same place
I will show you some images of fairy blocks and you will notice no matter what type of block area you are in you will find the fairy blocks about the same place.

In order to get this unlock when you rescue some fairies you need to finish the run or let yourself die until the game over screen, if you quite the match by exiting the fairies you collected in that run won't count.

Notice that the last and second to last screenshots are the same place just different level skins, this applies to all the screen shots I have taken and their locations.

Most of all be patient and go slow.... you’re not going to find much flying past blocky blurs trying to keep your rage full =)
