MAIN GAME ACHIEVEMENTS

~Story Achievements (Unmissable)~

All in chronological order.

-ILLUMINATED: "Restore power to the Administrative Block"

-FLUSHED: "Drain the Sewers"

-SOAKED: "Activate the sprinklers in the Male Ward"

-EMANCIPATED: "Collect the key in the Female Ward"

-PUNISHED: "Finish the game"

EDUCATED and PULITZER

These achievements are rewarded for collecting collectibles during the main game. The two types of collectibles are Notes and Documents. Notes you get from recording events with your camera and Documents are blue folders which you pick up.

There are a total of 62 Notes and Documents combined.

If you are going for all Documents and Notes you will achieve "EDUCATED".

-EDUCATED: "Collect 15 documents and complete 15 recordings"

-PULITZER: "Collect all documents and complete all recordings"

LUNATIC

-LUNATIC: "Finish the game in Insane mode"

This achievement is rewarded upon completeing the game on Insane difficulty which when you die you restart the entire game. You also have limited batteries and tougher enemies to deal with. Not for the faint of heart.

-SHOCKER: "Turn off the electricity"

-WHISTLEBLOWER: "Finish the Whistleblower DLC"

ARCHIVIST and LEGACY

These achievements are rewarded for collecting collectibles during the Whistleblower DLC. The two types of collectibles are Notes and Documents. Notes you get from recording events with your camera and Documents are blue folders which you pick up.

There are a total of 31 Notes and Documents combined.

That would be because this is a Steam guide not an Xbox guide.

Hello!
You forgot that there are additional three exclusive achievements (trophies) ONLY on Outlast Xbox One version which are the following:

1.Claustrophebe - Finish the game without hiding in the locker or under the bed
2. Energiser - Finish the game in Insane difficulty without reloading the camera batteries.
3. Elevator Operator - Drop the corpse in the elevator shaft.

This guide helped me complete the game with all of its achievements, i'll just say that the dlc in insane is the hardest to get in my opinion. Good guide though.
