Unused Zombie Model

Omschrijving
This mod brings the ancient, shirtless zombie known as "runner" from NMRiH's early days into the game, fully functioning (probably). Otherwise known as that dead zombie model that's near the spawn on nms_campblood.

This mod works 100% client-side and requires no custom server or plug-ins to use. I had to use witchcraft to repurpose one of the jogger zombie's skins as an entire new model via some cheeky skingroup swappery. Anyway, this guy will replace the red hoodie skin of the hoodie + sweatpants zombie. While I wish it was easy to just insert a brand new zombie into the roster, it sadly isn't, but I figured sacrificing one skingroup of one zombie was totally worth it to restore a long-forgotten relic.

Great addon and good looking zombie, but for me, it looks off among regular infected.

you should make it replace benrys second skin instead because the second skin is already being used for toby so no zombies would get removed

actually i believe both the formal dress and runner were used at some point in fact anyone making a map can just use the runner as a custom model on a zombie and it works perfectly fine i did it
as far as the formal dress zombie goes i have no clue where the hell she is now because she has been removed from the files entirely but i guess we are halfway there now considering we still have the runner

That zombie you’re referring to actually has a fully modelled ponytail and I was going to hook it up years ago, but I’ve actually lost the file(s) since that was on my old pc about 7-ish years ago. I was also nowhere near as skilled back then as I am now with that sort of thing.

As far as where she is now, I’m unsure. One of the devs probably still have her base model stored somewhere, but I don’t know if they’d be willing to pass it out to anyone (or any legacy devbuild assets for that matter)

@Greenie Beanie i know this is old, but it was probably unused because the zombie had nike shoes on.
