Yes, my screenshots are from the first version of the game. Game got an update about a year or two ago and things you mentioned changed (but I think the letter "i" not appearing is a problem with my system language, not the design).
And the final world used to not open, but I think that's fixed now.

Oh wait, the screenshot was altered somehow... really weird this game. The real equivalence with the steps:
7=where the ice cube is
11=8
8=9
9=10
10=11
The other steps are correct.

Yeah I solved the level, but of course steps from 8 to 11 are different:

Also there are other different things (I do not know why): the background, some icons like teleporters and the exit, the "i" from Frigid Engine, and the Ego text not showing in mine.

The ice cube to use in the left teleporter is the first we encounter from above.
The second ice cube is not used.
The third ice cube is pushed up to remain on the upper corner not used.
The fourth ice cube is used in the right teleporter.

I rarely use Steam these days so I saw your message late. You're right, these step numbers look weird at that area. I hope you've already solved this level because I have no idea what's going on here =) If you still have problems about it, I might try reinstalling the game and trying to figure out what's going on.

This is weird, how can be step 8 under 6? where is 7? and how can step 11 be so far from step 10 and 12?
