Weapon wielding enemies aren't skilled Martial Artists anymore.
In multiple boss enhancing mods, cutting someone's arm often leads to him becoming a better fighter : switching from his weapon to his deadly arms and feet.
Not anymore.

Training Weapon skills takes time, the same goes for Martial Arts (and even more time in Kenshi).
So assuming each NPC trained both skills to the same level, just because they can use a sword, doesn't seem logical to me.


Enemies carrying weapons have had their Martial Arts skill divided by 5.
This way, they won't switch from doing 70 weapon damage with their limbs intact, to 150 fist / foot damage when they get an arm cut off.

Example : a High Paladin's "unarmed stats" went from 95 to 19.
(His weapon skills remain untouched)

Finally enjoy cutting people's limbs, without them turning into Bruce Lee's doppelgangers.

also can u do it for all races or only per character

where do u change the stats at? i cant find them in the modding tool, ive found how to change running speed an other stats but not the fist dmg. want to lower them even more for all races.

Have all the stats been changed manually or does the mod detect sword-wielding NPCs and divide their martial stats accordingly?

I'm not sure if this is working or not or if I just happen to have encountered a wandering free trader with MA at 49 while naked. He had a naginata and katana at first.Oh well.

you can create heavy weapons not everywhere? i think is to hard use heavy sword

I wonder if you could make the level progression also feed into how far you can reach. to have some people, who are around the same stats, have different distances they can be for their attacks. It could give more of a 'fighting style' to each person
