A Guide to Prevent Crashing (Workshop and other things)
By knight_medek
Look at the problem. Fix it. If you don't know where, look differently. Anyways.. if you don't know what I'm talking about, I noticed a lot of recent crashes since October 2018- January 2019. Thought this would help a bit.

You Have Crashed!!!
You're probably on here, like.. yeah.. my computer crashed.
Hope this guide actually helps me OMG.
Well, if it crashed between the time of Around October 2018-January 2019, I think this should help a little.
Why did it crash!?!
First, ask yourself this important question. Anything could be helpful, including (but not limited to)

1. Discussions, Bug Reports, etc.
(The community might know)

Steam (TU), TU's official website

2. Error Pop ups and Notifications
(Your game, your computer)

and...

3. Basically Anything you see out of the ordinary that didn't happen before your game crashed.
Most likely when it happened between when you last loaded a game without crashing, to the most recent time you played it when it actually did start crashing.

In other words...
well...
(I'll give you an example near the end of the guide or something.)
Finding It Out: Through Steam Community: Discussions Section...
So.. you're probably in the first mode...
WTF!?!?!
Why game why!?!?
My game crashed!?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Anyway.. after you get the panic out of your system and think a little better, I suggest you check different discussions for your problem. First, just in the general sense, if you haven't already. In other words.. CHECK THE COMMON CHAT THINGY THAT"S PINNED BY MACDGUY!!!

Not saying that anyone out here is as dumb as a rock.. just saying that it's often overlooked and to prevent future self-hitting later.

One such example is the discussions section on Steam.
To get there, you hit the discussions tab, and scroll down until you see the pinned thing that says:
CONDO LOST? UNITS SHOWING UP AS ZERO? READ HERE!

It's written in nice, friendly, bold letters, thanks to MacDGuy really wanting us to know that WE HAVE IT RIGHT HERE!!! LOOK AT IT!!! message for us.

If you can't find it, I'll show you a shortcut link to it here:
https://steamproxy.net/app/394690/discussions/0/358415738179390791/

If it's not in the discussions section, there are a lot of other friendly parts that you may have missed. They might just be located somewhere else. But no need to worry, there are several other options on Steam for you.

There are other things like tabs in the far right corner, one such tab is Bug Reports.
Don't worry, it's as easy as 1,2,3!
1, find the words "Bug Reports" and click it.

2. find a discussion and click on it (In this case, it's one of MacDGuy's pinned ones again).

3. you're there. Read it.

If those don't help either, there are plenty of discussions listed. And, if the discussions look like they're overwhelmingly much for you, I have a simple solution to that, too.

Go to the search bar, type in some key words (usually something limited to a few words or less that best describes your problem). Then press Enter, and.. it should limit your search.

If, however, you can't find it listed anywhere on Steam, then just post your problem in a Bug Report, and it should be fixed or seen soon. If not, however, which can sometimes happen (if not a lot, lol), then you can try some other alternatives, some of which I'll have listed.
Finding It Out: Official TU Website Community
There are also, like I said.. OTHER OPTIONS!!!
As a note, I love caps lock A BIT TOO MUCH FOR MY.. *ahem* own good.

Anyway...
The official TU website is located in www.pixeltailgames.com.

For the part you're probably looking for, I suggest you do as follows:
Find Bug Report or Support in pixeltailgames.
It's very similar to how you find stuff on steam, it's just that the tabs migrated a little.
If you have trouble finding them, I'll post some links to some of the stuff (also, 'cause I'm a bit lazy).
Here's for Bug Reports:
https://forums.pixeltailgames.com/c/bug-report

And here's for Support:
https://forums.pixeltailgames.com/c/support

They work similar to the Steam system, but since the website for pixeltail games existed before the TU Steam store discussions stuff, it may be wiser to ask on the official pixeltail games website if you have further issues.

If you can't find the answers in either place, I suggest you post it in the official forums on pixeltailgames, and just wait for around... maybe 24 hours at the least (btw this is a rough estimate, idk how long it actually takes, but pixeltailgames tends to be faster with it).
Error Pop ups and Notifications (Your game, your computer)
So, if you have no idea what went wrong or anything regarding the Steam or Pixeltailgames helped enough, you can always try looking yourself first before asking or looking.

Some of the easy ones are the error pop-ups/notifications you get after the game crashes.

This is also probably a good time to take a screenshot of what happened for future reference (or current reference). Then you can look back and say.. wait.. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED LOOK!!!

The error notification picture will be very helpful, especially if you forget things easily, you can always loook at it for future reference.

Just Keep Track
By this I mean, just try to remember things or somehow get down what seemed off, or something you thought was different from the last time you played sucessfully without the troubling crashings and bug error things.

For instance, I was about to post a screenshot, when I noticed I deleted the darn thing...
So, my computer crashed..
So, I remembered there was an error message...
So, I accidentally deleted the screenshot...
But, I remembered I highlighted the error message before it vanished. Then, I realized I accidentally copied it into my clipboard, lol.
So I pressed Ctrl + V, and got...

LowLevelFatalError [File:C:\ci\buildAgent\work\uefork\Engine\Source\Runtime\RenderCore\Private\RenderResource.cpp] [Line: 120]
A FRenderResource was deleted without being released first!

There was more in the clipboard, but this was the gist of it.
I found something helpful, and what stood out to me most was:

"FRenderResource."
I typed it in online (since it wasn't listed on steam or pixeltailgames) and got some weird article explaining about a similar problem.
I kept on posting and posting, hoping I'd be able to help someone find an answer to the bug thing or at least use it properly...

Anyway..

To sum up, all you really need to to is:
1: Pay attention and keep track
2: Contact Steam community/ Pixeltail Games
3: Wait patiently, and if nothing happens, repeat after a reasonable period of time
(Please wait 24 hours please please PLEASE) (makes it much easier on everyone, including yourself, so you don't have to worry until the next day).

And thank you thank you MacDGuy, people on Steam, Discord, and PixeltailGames for being so patient with me, and considerate throughout all of this!!!

Now guys, if you need to contribute, remember to do this first.
Search for the right report, if not there, make it, THEN POST TO IT (if needed).
And.. the Jan 2019 crash thingy (FRender something...)
Just Workshop, lol.

Here's the link to it, if you need to see:
