The Hispaniola

My first contribution to the Steam Workshop, inspired by my country of origin. I was born and raised in Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican Republic.

The Hispaniola (Spanish: La Española; Haitian Creole: Ispayola) is a major Caribbean island comprising the two sovereign nations of the Dominican Republic and Haiti. The island is located between Cuba to the west and Puerto Rico to the east.

The Hispaniola is the site of the first European colonies founded by Christopher Columbus on his voyages in 1492 and 1493. It is the tenth-most-populous island in the world, and the most populous in the Americas. It is the second largest island in the Caribbean (after Cuba) and the 22nd-largest island in the world.

Civilization 6 is out next week.

Hey Ivan, want to give you props & for doing this. But PLEASE create a mod that includes several spanish countries with leader. Because I am Puerto Rican I would love to play as Puerto Rico going up against Dominican Rep, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, Columbia, Honduras, Equador, etc. That there would be awesome.

Hay que hacer uno del caribe entero y que los bordes fuecen al norte florida y al sur Colombia y Venezuela. Que sea gigante, no importa :p :steamhappy:

Ivan, you should make a map for Spain vs. Los Tainos del Caribe and their islands (puerto rico, DR, Cuba, ect.

I agree with the guy below me you should add puerto rico. I was born there too
