look this guide is just me makeing a guide so at least theres somthing to look at for advice on the game since right now theres like no guides
you might see my hours on btd6 and think thats low. but i have played everyday for about half a year now cus im kinda addicted.
this will be based on my personal play style.

so btd 6 is is kinda like the coolest tower defence game ever.

if you have not played any tower defence game before read this

tower defence games (td games) involve strategy.
enemies will often have weaknesses and strengths and learning these is vital to winning in any TD game. TD games usualy have different difficulty settings for the new to highly experenced player.
most TD games will have round based gameplay where you earn money and place towers. and then start the round. rounds are usualy pre set. eg. in btd6 there will always be a camo bloon on round 24.(excluding altbloonrounds)
TD games will sometimes have a "infinte" mode like free play.

ok how about btd6?

btd 6 is a TD game if you havent already guessed.
the mechanics of the game are simple
you start with a bit of cash and you can place towers and upgrade them if you have the money to do so.
you can start the round. forgetting to place towers is not a problem as you can still place or sell them.
bloons will come out. letting bloons through (leaking) will cause you to loose lives. your towers will pop the bloons for you. every pop you get will give you 1 monky money (we will get to budget cuts later)
as the rounds continue more bloons will come.
different color bloons will have layers. eg a blue bloon will if popped once contain a red bloon. so a blue boon takes 2 hits to pop (unless you have a tower that does more damage.) this gives the blue bloon an rbe (red bloon equal) of 2. harder bloons will usualy move faster. up untill pink bloons where bloons will move at various speeds.
even stronger bloons can pop into multiple children. eg, the white bloon if popped turns into 2 pink bloons. each pink bloon popping into a yellow to a green ect.
some bloons cant be popped by some towes/projectiles
camo bloons cant be popped by towers that cannot detect them
lead bloons cant be popped by sharp objects
white bloons cant be frozen
purple bloons cant be popped by magic, lazers or plasma
black bloons cannot be popped by explosives
this means that you have to mix different towers to get effective poping
towers have 3 upgrade paths. when you place a tower it will be 0-0-0 (0 in first path 0 in second and 0 in third 0)
of these three paths you can only have 2 so you have to choose wisely because you cant have a 1-1-1 tower but you can have a 2-2-0 tower
and only one of the 2 paths you chose may go past lvl 2 (you can have 4-2-0 but not 3-3-0)
and only one teir 5 of any upgade can exsist at once so you can have a 5-x-x dart mokey and a x-5-x dart monkey but not two 5-x-x dart monkeys.

ok ready to play now?

heroes are new in btd6 and they are unique compared to how towers work.

only one hero can be placed at any time
but they can level up as they gain xp every round. higher rounds earn more xp.
most heros will reach max level (lvl 20 by round 100)
you can spend money to level it up. however this is ineficiant compared to buying more towers or upgrading them. most heroes have 2 abilities one at level 3 and another at level 10. ezili who has an extra ability at level 7. as of the time of writing there are 7 heroes.

Quincy
quite usefull early game. althogh he loses effectiveness at higher rounds
he does have good moab popping power and camo detection. quincy has very bad lead popping power.
his arrows have good peirce and can home on targets.

everything you have to know about bloons

Red bloon
anything that anyone says about camo regrow reds being op is as a meme dont take it seriously.
the red bloon is the easiest bloon. really not much to say about it. the red bloon is used as a unit of mesurement for the btd community.like RBE (amount of pops to pop a bloon) red bloon equal and RBS red bloon seconds (how long a map is)
RBE 1 speed: slow
blue bloon
also quite easy to pop.
as with the red bloon its rather unremarkable
RBE 2 speed: less slow
green bloon
green bloons are intresting because they can be just the right speed to sneak past a dart monky however they still are not too fast to be too much of a problem
the first camo bloon on round 24 is a green bloon
RBE 3 speed:medium
yellow bloon
yellow bloons come quite early and are fast. so that if your defence doesen't include towers with high projectile speeds like the dart monky or ninja they can be supriseingly good at speeding through an early game defence
RBE 4 speed: fast
pink bloon
pink bloons are the fastest bloon in the game. a bit harder to pop than the yellow bloon because its faster and has an extra layer. althogh it doesent come out early enuogh to bother you to badly
RBE 5 speed: very fast

Bloons from here on can have more than one child bloon

Black bloon
the weakest bloon in the game with multiple children compareble to the white bloon. this bloon is immune to explosives, so if your defence contains lots of cannons this one could cause troble
RBE 11 speed: medium

white bloon
an odd bloon since in many ways its the same as the black bloon but its immune to being frozen. of course only one tower suffers. the ice tower. interestingly the white bloon is faster than the black bloon
RBE 11 speed: meduim
lead bloon
to an unpreapared defence this can be very dangourous bloon it can not be popped by sharp projectiles. wich are your main form of defence early game. also lead bloons are immune to lazers this bloon can be fortified and unlike other fortified bloons this one will need 4 hits to pop
RBE 23 speed: slow
Purple bloon
purple bloon is a bloon recently added to btd6 and has immunity to magic plasma and lazers
so those who spent all their money on wizards or a plasma super monkey are in danger

zebra bloon
this bloon is immune to expolsives and being frozen. Its basically a combination of the white and black bloon, when this baloon is popped it spawns one black and one white bloon.
RBE: 23 speed: medium

rainbow bloon
this bloon faster than epected and can be dangerous due to its large amount of children. When popped a rainbow bloon spans two zebra bloons
RBE: 47 speed: medium fast

ceramic ballon
this is the final type of bloon thus making it the storngest to remove the cermic layer it takes 10 pops.Towers with lots of pierceing shots such as the dart monkey or monkey ace willl not be as effective, also the regrew version of this ballon can be very dangerous. Ceramic bloons can also be fortifed when they are fortified they have double the health.
RBE: 104 speed: medium fast

from here instaid of bloons we have very strong moabs taking hundreds of pops to break.

note: im haveing difficulty finding accurate numbers for rbe
they can be fortiied for double health and usualy have 4 children. moabs cannot have regrow ore camo. however the ddt has camo.
moabs take extra damage form towers like the moab mauler.
M.O.A.B
the mother of all bloons. or the less cool massive oranary air blimp. strangely it doesent acutualy contain all bloons. as Mother of all bloons would suggest. as it doesent contain leads or purple bloons. nor is it the strongest bloon in the game the moab when popped contains 4 ceramic bloons.
it has 200 health
