I combined this with a autoexec I called "aim", that has this set inside:

crosshair 0

alias +fovzoom "fov_override 45; viewmodel_fov_override 37; +speed; crosshair 1"
alias -fovzoom "fov_override 90; viewmodel_fov_override 74; -speed; crosshair 0"

bind Mouse2 "+fovzoom"

And it makes the game have a sort of zoom "aiming" function.

I found a "bug", when you use both commands viewmodel_fov_override and fov_override together there will be a degradation of performance.
To reproduce this use a hunting rifle, open the scope and start shooting, after about 6-7 shots the FPS will start to drop and will not return to normal until you return to the main menu.
For this test I formatted a partition and installed only Steam and the game (vanilla).
