How to Play it
Step 1: Create a New Account. You can't do this with your current account unfortunately

Step 2: Have Ring of Elysium Downloaded and Launch it

Step 3: Go to Normal Tab and select Training Mode

Step 4: Play the game untill you get to the Helicopter and DO NOT BOARD IT

Step 5: Let Ymir kill you and end the game or a bot kill you.

Step 6: Repeat untill they officially release the mode
Review of the Bots
What They Can Do
  • Board the helicopter and escape
  • Drive vehicles (Rare)
  • Pick up items
  • Go into the safe zone
  • Kill each other
  • Can shoot you (Obviously)

Unknown if They Can
  • Use their Kits(Snowboarding,Climbing Gear, Glider)
  • Use Gondola
  • Follow you if they see you from a distance
  • Heal themselves

Overall I give the bots a 7/10. For an Indie BR team, these are impressive bots for the most part. Their aim could be better and they could be more aggressive like trying to track you down or going to the safe zones faster. They don't really hit their targets well and stand still if you shoot at them instead of trying to move around and dodge your shots. Still with all the things they can do, this is a start for something bigger and something to set them apart from the other BR games

Will it Come Later?
Possibly. I did tweet out and reach them and they did say it wasn't an idea the team was thinking but they would take into account. My advice is for people to reach out to them on their Twitter in the evening and tweet out if they can add it. More attention = more chance of it coming.

Leave a Like and Favorite if you want to see this mode improved and put in as an option to play.

@Geimfari Yeah I hope it does become a separate mode down the road and either the bots being more lethal.

Well recently i lost interest playing roe because everytime i played solo/duo/squad there were only bots around me until the last ring. my friends have reported the same issue. killing around 3-5 bots every game. It takes the fun out of it. when you see someone and shoot him and you are not sure if the game is going well or if it's mostly just bots. The gameplay changed alot switching to NA servers. Much more action and live players everywhere. Most of the time you can spot it's a bot based on there loot and outfit. Orange jacket, limited loot most of the time vector, pistol and extra 15mm for the pistol, bandages. and that's even the game has been on for 10-15min. A normal player would have looted and atleast got a helmet.And based on there movement and location it's a bot.

You could also just go to any game mode on EU server it has more bots than players.

@kabanod1m I was for sure playing training. It said training mode over solo. THey could have and I'm hoping to upload a part 2 with the new map and see if they have improved.

Weird. Probably devs downgraded them at some point. Or you were playing not only with bots, because there are a lot of bots at low-ranked solo.

@kabanod1m I have seen a bot ridding a Ski but it was only for a split second. Once I shot at it, it dismounted and did it's usual run and do nothing.

@kabanod1m My first game with bots was by far the one that showcased what they could do. I unfortunately did not record it. I have seen one bot board the helicoper and another one attempt to but I shot him down. Yeah they dont go to the safe zone as much. They are that dumb. I've never seen them AFK. If I land in a hotspot where they all land they go crazy and "kill" each other.
