KnightComp (shorthand for Demoknight Competitive) is a new competitive format for TF2, where having at least 4 Demoknights on your team is mandatory. It was created to solve one issue: Demoknight's lack of representation in TF2's competitive scene.

With a pool of up to 6 Demoknights, up to 1 Soldier and up to 1 Medic, it is a truly unique and fast-paced experience that is surprisingly balanced and has a high skill ceiling.

The only weapon bans so far are no stickybomb weapons of any kind (that includes you, Sticky Jumper) and no Vaccinator for the Medic.

We have been running test games in the EU region and have managed to build a pretty decently-sized community. KnightComp games are happening almost daily at this point and people of all skill levels are enjoying themselves.

We are going to open a league with in-game medals at some point next year. Whilst I can't confirm when that will be, the medal concepts we have are very cool looking and Rytu is planning to create the medals for sending to Valve at some point.

I hope to see more of you on the battlefield. It really is the best way you can play competitively as a Demoknight.
