I was about to go to the fort, turned and saw with the rain there was also lightning and all of the background was jagged rocks. Started to wonder how much of the ambience was planned and how much was accidental. For the movies they did, they turned a flat field into the "hillside shire," but the majority of this region is inside a mountain, so why bother with the storm?
