Public Service Announcement

Discord deleted my account / server because I posted a study about COVID-19 derived from the United Kingdom Government. This inability to speak openly and deleting my ability to speak with friends that I have built relationships with for years, has killed my motivation. Discord was the community that kept me interested in modding. I also promised that if Discord did delete my account that I would move on. This sweeping algorithmic censorship is intolerable and abhorrent to human progress. If we shut down each other's critical discussions and ability to listen, what form of communication is left?

As such, my work in RimWorld is suspended indefinitely. Everything I have created is under licensing (mostly GNU General Public License v3.0). Feel free to pick up the projects. As per the licensing of course.

I'll still be around on Steam and GitHub if you wish to reach out to me. Best of luck to everyone out there with the challenges ahead!

DocWorld is one of the most ambitious efforts to reorganize RimWorld and RimWorld mods into a cleaner, better functioning, and intuitive system. This mod patches hundreds of other mods while giving the user modular options in mod settings. SCRUB your Rim and you will not regret it.

  • Alphabetization and organization for 100s of mods' Architect Menu / Tabs.
  • New dropdown menus.
  • Custom Architect Icons. Use Architect Icons and Optional Icons for Architect Icons.
  • Unique foraged food types in caravans. (requires mods)
  • Beds require cloth. (nullified by mods)
  • More items become "stuffable". (build from stone/wood/etc...)
  • Efficient power use for some lights.
  • Hand-selected minifiable buildings from Vanilla and Mods.
  • Glass lights require glass.
  • More linkable furniture support for various linkables where sensible.
  • Fixes various bugs between mods.
  • Original Content like lamps, walled vitals monitors, hidden power conduits, and more...

people claiming the discord was algorith no its not discord does not have a algorith to delete acounts its why their atleast more than a hand full of public cases of crimi al groupsd having to be infiltrated oin discord by police discord doesnt have a bot checking chats or groups andf doesnt have a delete if reported setting eithert its human checked

I understand the frustration of useful creations being unavailable to you. I did spend a lot of time and energy in the community, and that effort is not lost on me either. I also enjoyed many of the community members' presence. I did attempt to reconcile with Discord since I did not want to lose so much. Human input was (likely) involved from their end, and we could not agree upon a resolution.

As stated I've left the mod freely accessible for anyone motivated enough to pick it up. I also did my best to document in the code and wiki. Unfortunately this mod is like a living organism and does require some level of constant attention. Since my time allocations opened up after I left, I've been devoting it in other areas, and do not have as much of the resource to devote here. Still waiting for Randy to drop pod me some more.

Til then I'll be floating about and perhaps one day I'll land on content creation again ;)

Again mister Zhivago, you are rightfully upset but please realize that you are upset at a robotic algorithm that removed your Discord account.

Not a human that is conspiring against you or your freedom of speech.
It is the equivalent of tripping on a rock and being mad at the Earth for holding grudge against you.

Write a letter to the Discord support, maybe they will read it, maybe they wont.
Try it. Or use this as an excuse to not do anything. Which you have all the rights to.

Still makes me sad to see your mod is not being updated.

It's still sad to see imo such a well-made mod not being updated in such a long time. Even if there is a "replacement" it's still the best mod out there that does this kind of sorting.
