If you’ve just conquered killer7, get ready for Round Two with the brutally challenging killer8 mode!

Here’s a helpful trick to give you a stronger start in your new (hardcore) playthrough.

You must enter the code on the killer8 / Press Start screen (this appears immediately after launching the game).

For the easiest input, use a Steam Controller, Xbox controller, or DualShock controller.

When you hear the Recovery sound effect, the code was entered correctly.

Reward:
You’ll receive 100 free Serum vials at the first Harman’s Room in the Celtic Building.
Note: This only works in killer8 mode.

With your 100 Serum vials, upgrade either:

• C0n Smith Criticals to Level 4, or
  
  
• Kaede Smith Criticals to Level 4

This unlocks Critical Lock-On, allowing you to automatically target a Heaven Smile’s weak point—even when it’s hidden.

This upgrade is extremely helpful for surviving killer8’s unforgiving difficulty.

Welcome to killer8 mode!
Remember: you die in one hit if a Heaven Smile reaches you (unless you’re using a high-HP character like MASK De Smith).

Stay alert, trust your aim, and step onto the battlefield prepared.
