Introduction
Check out my other guides:

After about a week of efforts, lots of swearing and misclicks I've finally been able to obtain every achievement for BMP-3. Creating lots of screenshots which I could refer to really helped me in the process, which is why I want to share a sort of walkthrough with you. I hope that it'll make your life easier when dealing with this insane model (or maybe, some of you who didn't even dare to think about it will now change their mind). The order of parts shown here is not the only one that's possible... but it won't fail you if you follow it.

The video version (Game with Sniper, Serenity and Timed III):

Frame Disassembly, Part 1
NOTE: You don't have to zoom too close to the small parts. Clicking at roughly the right place should work in most cases.

Okay, you can start with a lot of choices but perhaps it's the best to take off the Combat Module in the middle:

We'll deal with it later. Now, around the big hole in the top there's the Tow Rope:

Also, there are a lot of small accessories you can take off along with it (in any order):

It'll be important to keep track of the parts, so make sure you didn't miss any of those:
  • Fire Extinguisher,
  • Pinch Bar,
  • Sledgehammer,
  • Shovel,
  • 2 Mirrors,
  • 2 Machinegun Masks,
  • 2 Headlamps.

Now we'll start working in the front. There are several big chunks of metal you can remove:

Those include:
  • Hood Additional Armor,
  • Bulldozer Blade,
  • Shield.

Removing the latter allows you to deal with 2 Front Mudflaps. And you can take the frontal Flap off:

Next, 2 side Fenders and 2 Tracks come off:

You can click all those from the front, so we'll stay here for a while. Remove the Fuel Tank Hatch which was under the Hood Additional Armor. This gives you access to the Fuel Tank:

With the Fuel Tank gone, there are some more parts to remove inside:

More specifically, at both sides you can click:
  • 2 Track Tension Mechanisms,
  • 2 Watershield Cylinders,
  • 2 Watershield Reducers (do not click those before the Cylinders!).

Don't forget about the B3 Power Supply at the right side of the vehicle:

In the middle, you have the Instrument Panel, after which comes the Steering Column underneath:

Once taken out, the Steering Column is disassembled separately into the following parts:
  • the control itself (for some reason it's called Object1249),
  • Gear Lever,
  • Waterjets On/Off Lever,
  • 2 Waterjet Shutter Levers.

Finally, on the floor you can see the Accelerator and the Brake Pedal:

Remove 2 Middle Platings and 3 Hatches at the top:

When the Hatches are off, you can get to the 6 TNPO-17 Periscopes in the front. And 4 more Periscopes in the back:

The last one requires you to rotate to the back, so you may postpone it a bit. Now, you can finish with the interior parts in the front, but here we'll proceed to various armor plates instead. You may ask why remove the periscopes and nothing else from inside... well, maybe periscopes just stick out while other interior parts do not. Anyway, the plates:
  • 2 Under Turret Platings,
  • 2 Roof Platings,
  • 3 Additional Armor Plates.

Under the right Roof Plating there's the Filtering Plant Hatch, which covers the Electro Motor (take it out first) and the Filter:

Behind the center hole you can see the Air Intake Cover. Remove it and then you'll get access to the Cooling System Radiator and the Air Intake Pipe:

Next, right behind it, come the Radiator Grill (on top) and Exhaust Grill (at the side):

These uncover the following:
  • Radiator Block,
  • Diffuser,
  • Compressor Intake Pipe.

At the opposite side, take off the Accumulator Compartment Hatch and then take out 2 Accumulators:

You can take out a couple more tanks from the next compartment but I prefer to wait until it's possible to empty the whole compartment at once. Rotate to the back and remove 2 Top Doors and 2 Low Doors:

After both Top Doors are off, you can remove the Horizontal Bar. And there's a bunch of small things below as well:
  • 2 Stairs,
  • 2 Rear Fenders,
  • 2 Waterjet Shutters,
  • Compressor Hatch,
  • Waterpump Hatch.

The small pipe-like thing coming out of the central motor cover has a long and scary name: Motor Compartment Ventilation Facility. You can pluck it out and disassemble into Motor, Compartment, Ventilation and Facility haha, just kidding. Anyway, it is indeed disassembled into:
  • Electro Motor,
  • Ventilation Pipe,
  • Clamp.

Right next to it, attached to a vertical rack, there's a Fire Extinguisher. Take it out:

Now, you can remove all the Motor Covers (in any order):

Remove two Side Covers and the Rack where the fire extinguisher was, too:

Frame Disassembly, Part 2
Now it's finally time for all those tanks in the left compartment:
  • Cooling System Expansion Tank,
  • Hydrosystem Oil Tank,
  • Product 29T Spare Parts,
  • Float Set,
  • Oil Tank (should be removed last).

And here comes the UTD-29 Diesel Engine:

Two axles were hiding under the engine: Right Final Drive Axle and Right Waterjet Axle:

And under one of the axles... there's Compressor Intake Pipe and Rear Water Pump:

See that tiny gray knob? That is the Waterjet Shutter Drive. Forgetting about it causes a lot of curses because the waterjet itself cannot be removed before it:

But now, Right Waterjet is free to go. And it is disassembled into:
  • Right Valve Box,
  • Right Waterjet Nozzle,
  • Propeller.
(yeah, this whole vehicle can actually swim)

It would be logical to proceed with the motor compartment, but let's make a little detour (you'll see why). Remove the back seats (there are 5 total Seats and 3 Backrests):

Under the central seat, there's the Non-Motorized 100mm Ammunition Box (another long and scary name). And under the gearbox (which is still in place) lies the Left Waterjet Axle, which is really hard to notice and easy to misclick, so be careful with it. Finally, behind it, there's the Left Final Drive Axle:

Removing all the axles makes the Gearbox detachable. And then the Oil Pump can be detached from the Gearbox itself:

You can now take out the Left Valve Box (but only if you removed the left rear backseat before!). And don't forget about another Waterjet Shutter Drive (seriously, I forgot about those damn things more than once):

Remove the Left Waterjet and disassemble it into Nozzle and Propeller, like the right one (but there's no valve box, because we just dealt with it):

Only one thing left to do here. See the white covers going along the inner left wall? Those are Control Traction Covers.

Under them, there's the Control Traction Set:

Removing both of those allows you to take out the Sheaves in the motor compartment:

Now, we can get inside like I did in the video, but maybe it's more logical to proceed to the wheels:

2 Front Drive Wheels (left and right one), as well as 12 Road Wheels, can be removed right away. However, before you touch the Rear Drive Wheels, remove 2 Mud Cleaners first. Assuming you completed all of the above, the side now looks like this:

You can now take off 2 Rear Drive Wheels, 2 Sway Beams in the front, 6 Shock Absorbers and 6 Return Rollers above. And the side now looks like this:

Now, 2 rear Final Drives (in the current version, one of them is incorrectly called Sway Beam) and 12 Sway Beams go off. And after the Sway Beams you can take out 12 Torsions (in fact, you can do it from one side without rotating):

And we can start gutting the interior. There are a lot of small accessories scattered around:

Take them all out. Keep track of the list so as to avoid missing anything:
  • 4 Jerrycans (when you see 2 on top of each other, you should, of course, remove the top one first),
  • 2 Medicine Chests,
  • 2 Fire Extinguishers,
  • 2 Belay Jackets,
  • 2 Spare Parts,
  • Bag,
  • 2 Protective Cover Bags (near the front seats),
  • 2 Air Tanks (near the front seats),
  • TDK Set (only after the left Protective Cover Bag is gone),
  • Front Waterpump (only after the TDK Set is gone),
  • PKT Spare Parts (far in front on the left shelf).

Phew. Well, it's time for the front seats - first the Driver Seat (already shown above) and then 2 Gunner Seats:

You can also see some parts selected besides the seats - those can also be removed by now and include:
  • Hatch Drive,
  • Air Panel,
  • 2 Machinegun Control Panels.

After the control panels are gone, 2 PKT Ammunition Cartridges can be removed:

Removing the cartridges allows you to take out 2 PKT Machineguns and PKT Spare Parts:

And after the machineguns, there are two 7,62mm Shell Trays:

And, assuming you've dealt with the wheel part (and the Torsions are out), we can empty the interior completely. There are 8 Tractions (4 on each side):

Then, 4 Tension Mechanisms (2 on each side):

Finally, 12 Tension Arms (6 on each side):

Now look at the counter of parts in the upper right corner. It should say there are 263 parts left. If you see more than 263, it means you've missed something along the way (good luck with finding it, muhahahaha... sorry, it's actually not funny, I've been there several times, too). If you have exactly 263 parts left and haven't made a single mistake so far, then you can take a deep breath of relief... and proceed to the combat module.
Combat Module Disassembly
So, we have a lot of parts sticking out here, and we can remove almost all of them in any order. Among those are:
  • 2 Antennas (or is it Antennae? Sorry, I'm not a native speaker),
  • Rear Lamp,
  • 3 Sight Covers,
  • Commander IR Projector,
  • IR Projector,
  • 6 Smoke Grenade Launchers.

After the IR Projector and Smoke Grenade Launchers are removed, you can take off the Turret Frontal Armor Plates:

And you can continue with the turret - one of the covers was hiding the K13 Sight Head, and there are various hatches (which could be removed right away along with everything else). The most noticeable are the Gunner Hatch and the Commander Cupola:

The cupola can be disassembled into 3 Periscopes and the Commander Hatch:

And still remaining on the turret are:
  • Gun Block Hatch,
  • 2A72 Gun Hatch,
  • Extractor Hatch,
  • Turret Top Armor Plate.

Once all of the above are gone, you can remove the Turret:

We'll continue dealing with the Turret for now. Once again, there are a lot of choices, but the easiest way to remember is to start with the parts that stick out: 2 PZ13 Air Sights (above) and the Tower Automatic Drive (below):

Now, look under the turret. The furthest part in the front is called Vertical Laying Mechanism. The furthest part in the back is the Rammer:

Once the Rammer is gone, you can remove the Ejection Mechanism right above it. And in the front there's Gunner Weapon Control Panel, for example:

Removing the latter allows you to take out the Main Gun Block:

This one is disassembled into:
  • Laser Rangefinder,
  • Barrel Coupler,
  • 2A72 30mm Automatic Cannon (only after the coupler is detached),
  • PKT Machinegun,
  • PKT Mounting (only after the machinegun is gone),
  • Sector.

What do we still have left in the turret? Well, if you rotate it like this:

two parts that still stick out the most are Tower Manual Drive and Commander Communication Device. Also, you can see 2 Lamps (there's one more but it's on the opposite side). Next bunch is:
  • K13 Sight,
  • Info Panel,
  • Hyroscopic Angle Sensor,
  • Roll Sensor.

It doesn't really matter now, you can take out all that's left in any order:
  • 2 Periscopes (you really need a lot of those things when you don't have windows),
  • Lamp (the third one),
  • Gunner Communication Device,
  • Smoke Grenadelauncher Control Panel,
  • 2 Control Panels,
  • Hyrotachometer,
  • Radiostation,
  • Line Box.

Now check the part counter, it should say there are 135 parts left. If it says more, then examine the turret once again (this should be easy, assuming you had 263 parts left when beggining this section). And we move to all the parts still attached to the turret floor (the red one). Start with the 30mm Ammunition Guide:

Once again, several choices are possible. For example, let's empty the shelving at the side. There are 5 parts there:
  • Commander Weapon Control Panel,
  • Elevation Amplifier,
  • Traverse Amplifier (only after the previous one),
  • Control Block (only after the previous one),
  • Equipment Shelving itself (only after all the previous parts).

Regardless of these, you can remove the 2 Seats:

After that, the left 30mm Ammunition Cartridge can be detached (but not the other one!). And you can take off the Missile Cartridge:

Next to the Missile Cartridge, there are the Missile Loader and the Conveyor Stop Mechanism:

Proceed with the equipment blocks in the middle, Ballistic Computer and 2 Control Blocks:

Then, Protection Box, Power Stabilizer and Electronic Unit:

Finally, the Voltage Transformer:

This allows you to remove the Fencing:

Now you can touch the second 30mm Ammunition Cartridge. Also, there's Rotating Pin Device below, which allows you to remove the Conveyor:

We're almost done here. The small parts attached to the floor are: Sensor Reducer, Conveyor Reducer and Click (an interesting name):

And the final steps are:
  • Hoist,
  • Hoist Actuator Assembly,
  • Hoist Rail (should be removed last).

This should be everything. You can take another deep breath of relief... and realize that now you have to put everything back.
Combat Module Assembly
I could get away with just saying "put everything back in the reverse order, and you'll be fine", but this wouldn't be fair since all parts that were originally in order are now lying all around chaotically on the field, many of them looking too similar, easy to mix up, and of course you don't remember where all of them belong. So, I will highlight the necessary ones for you. At least you can remember that you finished the disassembly with the Hoist Rail...

with Hoist and Actuator attached to it:

Then, you can easily find the Conveyor and put it back...

and the round Pin Device after it:

2 Ammunition Cartridges come next:

2 Seats come after the cartridges:

Then you may attach the Equipment Shelving:

and put back all its blocks:

Next, you can attach the Missile Loader and Conveyor Stop:

The loader allows you to attach the Missile Cartridge. And put Reducers and the Click back while you're at it:

Once the last three are in place, get the Fencing:

Put all electronics inside. There are two groups, the first one starts with the Voltage Transformer:

after which comes the Electronic Unit:

and the Control Block:

The second group starts with Power Stabilizer:

which allows you to place the rest (strictly speaking, it's only required for the Control Block, but it's easier to remember that way):

And then attach the Ammunition Guide:

Now, we can move to the turret. Assemble the gun block as shown below:

Once ready, the gun block can be immediately put back in place:

Next, assemble the cupola, just so that its parts wouldn't confuse you later:

Returning to the turret, you can put back the Ejection Mechanism:

and the Rammer right after it:

Screw all the Lamps in:

Attach the Periscopes:

Put everything lying in the back except the Communication Devices (actually, only the left one can't be put back from those, but if you can't recall exactly which one it is, you might want to avoid both):

Now, put both Communication Devices in safely:

Next come the parts in the front, except the Tower Manual Drive and Gunner Weapon Control Panel (just remember their positions on the screen):

You can put those two safely after the rest:

And here comes the complete Turret:

To make it simpler, first attach the black parts in the back:

Then, everything that doesn't belong to the front armor plates, except the big sight cover and the projector:

Then, put those last two along with the armor plates:

Finally, attach the grenade launchers with the second projector:

The Combat Module is now complete.
Frame Assembly
Okay, this looks bad. Where do we start? You vaguely remember something about finishing the disassembly on... right, Tension Arms. So let's put them back in now:

And then Tension Mechanisms with Tractions, too:

And the Torsions:

Now you can attach Sway Beams:

And, after those, Shock Absorbers. And don't forget about Return Rollers:

Here come the Road Wheels. Along with them, you can attach the frontal Sway Beams and rear Final Drives:

Then it's time for Rear and Front Drive Wheels. Also, next to the front wheels there are Water Shield Reducers and Track Tension Mechanisms, you can put them back as well:

The last parts of the wheel system are Mud Cleaners. Also, after the Water Shield Reducers, you can attach the Water Shield Cylinders:

Finishing the wheel parts allows you to assemble the Tracks:

Now let's continue working in the front, following the easiest way to remember. Attach the Sheaves, Control Traction Set and Control Traction Covers, then assemble and install the Steering Column:

Put in the Accelerator and Brake Pedal, along with the Instrument Panel. You can also remember that there was B3 Power Supply attached in the front:

Once the panel and pedals are in, you can click the Fuel Tank:

Close the Fuel Tank Hatch. You can also attach various flaps:

And the Fenders, together with frontal shields:

Put back the Headlamps, the Mirrors and other small stuff lying around like Medicine Chests, Fire Extinguishers, Spare Parts, and some equipment. But be careful, there are parts that you shouldn't touch for now. Remember the positions of green parts on the screen:

After you put back Shell Trays (among all those parts), you can proceed with Machineguns:

and then with Machinegun Masks, Ammunition Cartridges, and the Front Waterpump:

Machinegun Control Panels and the TDK Set are ones that should come last in this sequence. Also, you can fit the Gunner Seats and Periscopes:

The Driver Seat should only come after the Right Gunner Seat. Finally, get the hatches:

Continue with various interior packages and canisters scattered across the sides and in the back. Be careful to avoid the non-coupled fire extinguisher, it belongs to the rack that is not yet attached. Also, the left of the coupled jerrycans should go in first:

After you get the Filter, put the Electro Motor in after it. And deal with the last Periscopes:

Close the Filtering Plant Hatch and attach Air Intake Pipe with Cooling System Radiator:

Next comes Air Intake Cover and all the platings:

Place the Tow Rope on top:

Now, only the stuff in the back remains. Assemble the Waterjets, Gearbox and Ventilation Facility. And put back the Ammunition Box:

Then get the Accumulators and Compressor Intake Pipe:

Once the Waterjets are assembled, put them in. Close the Exhaust Grill. Put back the Diffuser, Rear Water Pump and a couple of tanks closest to the side:

After the Waterjets come Waterjet Shutter Drives and the Left Valve Box. After the Pump comes the Intake Pipe. After the Diffuser comes the Radiator Block:

Now, close the Radiator Grill and put back all the remaining Seats with Backrests (you didn't forget the Ammunition Box, did you?):

You can now put the Gearbox in place. And attach various external things like Stairs, Hatches, Fenders, and Shutters:

Once the Gearbox is in, get to the Axles:

And now it's time for the Engine, the Oil Tank and the Rack:

You can attach the last Fire Extinguisher to the Rack. Put the Float Set and Spare Parts in and close the Accumulator Compartment Hatch (or vice-versa). Place the Motor Cover Center on the Engine:

Pinch Bar, Sledgehammer and Shovel come on top of the hatch. The Ventilation Facility can be attached to the central cover. And you can put the side covers in:

You can almost smell victory in the air. Then, the Horizontal Bar and the last two covers:

The doors:

The Combat Module:

And... now it's over. You can take the last deep breath and realize what you've just managed to achieve. You probably thought it was impossible. But you did it.
