Swamp Start

Breh, best start I've played so far. Chased by everything from the get go. Plant monsters, assassins at first. Night falls as I build my shotgun, then I hear the screaching from those foul nightmares coming at me. First time I come face to face with those vicious raptors without a vehicle. I do like how they got a balanced hitbox unlike those annoying alien scorpions that somehow magically avoid shotgun shell spread. But the drones seem to be bugged. They won't chase me, and they get stuck behind trees.

My Genaric Brand Galaxy for Alpha 9 has a larger galaxy, dynamic playfield gerenation and 4 starter planets including a swamp starter.

could you make a solar system out of this mod? The map is quite nice tho
but would love to have a massive solar system that comes with this
9 things to uncover in space is not a lot therefore I would love to see more if possible

Ah ok well then more changed then I knew. Anyhow just amped up the drone count hoping it works. I like a warzone for my games. LOL.

@Dawg I only added the start poi's to the planet, the rest of the changes are gamewide. Cheers!

Loving this start as well not played Empyrion in a long time. I have to ask though did you change anything gamewise other than ability to start on the Swamp planet? Do not remember the character moving so fast. lol. Plus the way raptors circle you before their attack. Then I had a scorpion thing destroy my bike.....LOL.....Never had that happen. LOL.

Loving it. Hard is tough, but doable. Just have to dig holes. I found skipping the Rob Protocol and avoiding the Wreckage a bit easier as you get a drill - it was too hard to get to the Wreckage in one piece for me. Also the PV shows up real early on some starts near the Wreckage. Reminds me of much earlier versions of the game where you really had to work hard to dodge the drones early game. Also all the nasties coming out a bit early adds to the challenge.

Hard start without the O2 worries but no starter biome on the swamp planet start. Its a static yaml for now, will be turning it dynamic with some more PDA content in the future.
