[NG+]Moonlighter Jewellery Guide (Rings/Amulets) [SPOILERS]
By Ellavina
Whether you call them rings or amulets, the new jewellery drops in NG+ can give you a new edge in your second playthrough. This guide goes through all the available accessories and their abilities, where to find them and a rating of their overall usefulness throughout the game. Again, spoilers (duh).

Introduction

Jewellery slots are a new equipment slot available to the player in NG+. The player may equip up to 2 rings at a time. As of 1.8.19.1, there are a total of 18 rings available to collect in NG+. 8 of these rings are dungeon-specific drops, only available in their respective dungeons. The rest are possible drops from any purple (magic) chests. A player may only have one of each ring at a time.

NG+ items are denoted with a '+1' suffix to the end of their name. I have omitted this from the item names to keep it from getting redundant but your in-game items will have the +1 appended to their name.
I. Elemental/Boss Rings
This section is for basic rings that are dungeon-specific. Each of the four elemental dungeons has two rings associated with it: One ring that resists elemental debuff effects, and another dropped upon slaying the Dungeon Guardian that grants bonus maximum health in exchange for other stats. The elemental rings can be found from purple (mythic/magic) chests in the dungeon and are a guaranteed drop (granted that you do not already possess one).

I-I. Golem Dungeon

Anti-Confusion Amulet

Overall Rating: F
Prevents stun effects. Doesn't prevent pulls, slows or knockback effects. Does not protect the wearer from slime attacks. Using this ring is a wasted slot.

Golem King Amulet
Overall Rating: B
-5% Movement Speed
+20% Health
Decent pickup for inexperienced players. Players should be mindful of using heavy plate armor or the greatsword with this ring.

I-II. Forest Dungeon

Anti-Poison Amulet
Overall Rating: A
Prevents all poison Damage-over-time (DOT) effects on the player. This includes poison puddles and damage from poisonous monsters such as orange slimes. Poison damage is unique to the forest dungeon so players should look into replacing this ring when they enter the next area.

Carnivorous Mutae Amulet
Overall Rating: B
-10% Defence
+20% Health
Similar to the Golem King Ring but sacrifices a small amount of defence in exchange for Health. Between the two rings, players looking for a bit of extra health can take their preference between sacrificing a small amount of mitigation or speed.

I-III. Desert Dungeon

Anti-Fire Amulet
Overall Rating: A
Prevents all fire Damage-over-time (DOT) effects on the player. This includes lava puddles and damage from monster attacks. Fire damage is unique to the desert dungeon so players should look into replacing this ring when they enter the next area.

Naja Amulet
Overall Rating: F
-10% Attack
+20% Health
In Moonlighter, the best defence is a strong offence, and this ring does the exact opposite. Taking longer to kill enemies increases the risk of taking more damage in the first place, meaning this ring excels at nothing. Taking this ring is worse than having an empty slot.

I-IV. Tech Dungeon

Anti-Electricity Amulet
Overall Rating: A
Prevents all electric Damage-over-time (DOT) effects on the player. This includes electrocution from puddles and damage from monster attacks. Electric damage is unique to the electric dungeon so players should look into replacing this ring before entering the next area.

Energy Flux Amulet
Overall Rating: A
+20% Health
*Secondary Attack Damage Nullified
A viable pickup for players who opt for the standard shortswords and bow combo. Shortswords don't have a secondary attack, meaning only the bow-bonus is lost. Not recommended for greatsword players.
II. Magic Rings (Other)
Aside from the previous 8 rings listed above, there are an additional 10 rings that the player can receive as drops from purple (magic) chests. Rings are guaranteed drops from purple chests in NG+ (assuming the player has not already collected them all). These rings are not dungeon-specific and can drop from any purple chest.

Fenix Amulet

Overall Rating: S
Singlehandedly one of the best rings in the game. This ring has a Guardian Angel passive that will revive the player when killed, but will destroy the ring.

Barrier Amulet
Overall Rating: C
Adds a shield (similar to the bonus provided by sleeping in the bed) to the player when they enter the dungeon or enter a new floor. Fall damage increased by 20% of maximum health. The shield isn't particularly useful, and increasing fall damage can make exploring secret rooms difficult if the player isn't careful.

Emergency Attack Amulet
Overall Rating: A
One of only two damage-inreasing rings in the game. Increases attack power by a whopping 50% when the user is below 20% HP. Could be an S-tier, but this ring is generally pretty terrible for clearing rooms. If a player is attempting to do a perfect completion of a boss, it's a viable strategy to intentionally injure themselves enough to trigger the ring before entering the boss room in order to get a massive 50% attack bonus. A good ring for living in the fast lane, but be careful because when you play with fire, it's easy to get burnt.

Emergency Defence Amulet
Overall Rating: F
Increases Defence by 30% when health falls below 20%. Useless and would probably never save your life. A poorman's version of the Fenix Amulet.

Emergency Health Amulet
Overall Rating: C
Increases healing effect of potions by 50% when under 20% health. Not quite useless. Potentially a decent pick up with enough defence, but hardly worth the hassle.

Emergency Speed Amulet
Overall Rating: F
Increases movement speed by 10% when under 20% health. Probably worse than the confusion amulet. Even if the movement speed bonus was 100%, this ring would still be garbage.

Black Cat Amulet
Overall Rating: F
Prevents fall damage and slowing effects in exchange for 20% reduced enemy drops. Accomplishes nothing at the cost of reducing income.

Luck Amulet
Overall Rating: B
Item drop +20%, Defence -10%. Not superb. Most of player income will be from gold/purple chests and looting corpses, but on occassion this ring can net some good drops if players don't mind the reduction in defence.

Vampire Amulet
Overall Rating: C
Deal 20% less damage and receive 2% of damage dealt as healing. Heals too little to be viable. Could be useful if you wanted to skimp out on potions, but it's probably better to not take this.

Wanderer Amulet
Overall Rating: S
The only ring in the game besides the Emergency Attack Amulet to increase player damage. Deal 5% increased damage, but each attack has a chance to call the Wanderer. The Wanderer can not enter boss rooms or secret rooms, making this an excellent choice for horde room battles or boss battles. Remember to unequip this ring when in the regular dungeon.

Amulets aren't ng+ exclusive...

The Wanderer can still enter during minibosses. One time the Wanderer joined my fight with the 2nd miniboss in the tech dungeon.

You can get and wear rings in the normal game. Does not need to be +

Emergency Speed Amulet is actually decent when combined with Emergency Attack Amulet and light armor set (for even more speed). I was able to perfect all bosses on NG+ with this combo.

resumindo: aneis são inuteis praticamente... precisam de uma melhora grande pra serem viaveis de se usar.

The vampire amulet... I have like 1000 attack on the first dungeon (after the 20% reduction) and say 5 enemies in the room, taking 2 hits to kill them, in theory you would heal like 200hp, not bad IMO.

AH HA... I FOUND A FLAW... MWAHAHAHAHAHAAH... but in all seriousness...
You said "Anti-Electricity Amulet" is for the DESERT...
It's a small mistake... and also...

@Ol'Dracor They can't be sold :MoonlighterShiny:. You can put them up for sale but NPCs will ignore the item as if it was empty.
