Blood on ice was really awesome, but it was no inspiration for this map. I just wanted to build a nice lake with sunset and sunrise.
Detail Overhaul over the map
• Optimized Terrain
• AmbientSound Overhaul
• Small Performance Increase (e.g. PCV)
• Complete Overhaul over the Start-Area
• Additional blocking Volumes against Blocking points and Safespots
• Fixed Workshop Tags
@Sraigius,
• i will change the start position of the sun so it's one round later night. I think this is more easy than to change my Matinees.
• Due to your performance. I think you have a good pc do you^^ ; I play this map around 90-100 FPS.
@ Armand
I think the Tags are ok so far. You can play this map on endless -> Holdout
There are random round objectives (Dosh Zones) -> Objective
This is what the editor propose.
Absolutely magical. And infinite day-night cycle, and runs great (120-150 FPS for me), and plays well, even tho it's somewhat small-ish by size ( about 100 in-game meters, from one side to another) - that's not a matter! Really good job!
I dropped and this👍, and that ⭐, and I ahem excuse me, WE will play this map and we'll have some fun in endless mode!
Small sidenote: if you have any plans to make something similar like this - make the day and night cycle just a tiny bit slower. Just a little bit slower than right now. If it takes about 5-6 waves to go from day to night- try about 7-8 waves. So that it scales better with medium length (seven wave) games. Since 7 wave games are golden middle when it comes to length. That's it! 👌
