WORK IN PROGRESS GUIDE
Pickaxe and Weapons
You get the first pickaxe to fast farm gold from the stone slabs you can turn over,or dung piles(reduces sanity) or the dung beetles.
Or you can go spelunkying in cave clefts for spilagmites. But don't forget torches!
Cheap halberds you get from the pig village guards!
Science Machine and explore temples
Once you made a comfortable science machine you should make a quick crockpot from the charcoal in the burned forest. Make 3-4 dishes so you can explore alot longer and don't have to care for hunger that much.
Now you should long time explore the map and try to find 3 temple entrances , burned forests and gnat swarm biome(tuber tree, bronze orange biome).
In the burned forest you should gather iron. Iron is very important to fast advance in hamlet!!!!
If you are brave enough you can hit the iron husks with pickaxe to gather massive irons amounths.
But beware they got deadly lasers!
You could base and turtle now then shears and mass produce dry racks + jerky from pig village.
If you prefer to be nomad better make ball pein hammer (tresure hunt tab) and gold pan from the iron. The gold pan can be used in the gnat swarm orange biome to produce further gold per biome are 2-3 water pools. Might take awhile to spawn them, maybe humid season is better for gold dust.

More risky but faster approach is to enter the temples ASAP and gather 4-5 idols via the ball pein hammer. Each idol is 10 oinc worth! Aka 1 gold. Keep looting till you got alchemy machine!
Alchemy and season preps
Now that we got hefty recipe unlocks you should really prepare for the crazy new seasons matey ;)
In the humid season you will get very wet and the rain will slow down your movement alot. As long as you wear helmets, armors or backpack you will move "sandstorm slow".
To counter this annoying season either you could go spelunkying more in temples / antmen hives / pig village rennovations or you make better clothing to counter the humidity.
A pith helmet and an umbrella/ snakeskin vest are must haves, if you don't wanna die to insanity + terrorbeaks.
The pig vendors for example sell umbrellas and cloth for pith helmet!
Once you feel comfortable with the humid season i recommend progressing further in the weapon and armor tree. Next step should be alloy, you make that with smelter + iron. Alloy is very helpful midgame material! With that you can mass produce halbers, alloy armor + alloy helmets.
When you wear that outfit even a spider monkey will only make 3 hp rofl. Almost invincible mode :D
And i guess now you got alot of time to experiment.
Wander about and enjoy !
Lush season
I consider lush season the deadliest of the new seasons, because of dreadful hayfever !
Hayfever gives you new screen filter - a little like poisoned status - so you see less of your surrounding. But most annoying you wil cough and every few seconds drop random items out of your pockets. Also hayfever makes you insane rather fast. So in the end you will be chased by bats + terrorbeaks + inventory on the floor xD
Usually i die in this seasons, since i didn't find enough fast counters yet. So i will further investigate.
Maybe solutions are: Gasmask or some sort of antidote or air purifier?

Yay i survived my first lush season and on day 42 /o/
#1So far i found 2 options to survive hayfever and the insanity drain. Either stock up alot of food in the easier seasons and simply time skip this season with fast straw roll / tent / sieta lenos. So you can fast travel to day 36. I believe at day 36 another temperate season starts!
or
#2 Cut down alot of those Tea trees in the pig village biome. They drop 2 new seed types. If you cook them they do temporarily cure the hayfever. But i believe to constantly survive the whole hayfever season you at least need a full stack of 40+ cooked teatree seeds. But you can eat them at will and controll your own usage. Who knows? Maybe you want to stay insane and 24/7 farm terrorbeaks instead?
Thanks, Closin comments

@kelann i don't think there are quests in hamlet, to get oincs you just have to trade certain ressources with the townsfolk or hunt for treasures in temples
@jacob12 i don't think there is a major in shipwrecked this is other DLC - this is a hamlet guide

I main as WX so i kinda need a couple of handy gears to make life easier :D thanks for the info!

@Maiev trust me you don't really need gears in hamlet. The game is perfectly playable without fridge or old RoG content. But if you REALLY want gears go out find the second New pork city and buy gears in the overpriced shops there. They sell for 10 oincs a piece :3
