The map itself should work, and is specially made to open up the Canadian and Russian Northwest passages with the global warming mod late game.

My Napoleon Map is excellent for fans of that era. Will one day try to do a good WW2 mod, with a Euro version along with World and Pacific.

Someone will make a converter when the next civ comes out, so I doubt it will go to waste in the long run.
