Arctic Defense is a NPC map about an onslaught of Combine soldiers boarding the Borealis, which inexplicably teleported 50 miles onto land, near a Combine barracks. The Combine have learned about the presence of Odessa Cubbage, who is on board attempting to deliver a message to a hidden rebel base. The Combine will now stop at nothing to kill Colonel Cubbage.
It was originally a map made by SirusMaximius [hl2-beta.ru] for the 2003 Half-Life 2 leak, but he felt that the map was underwhelming, so I heavily modified and micro-optimized it to be compatible with Garry's Mod.

This map features:

• An absurd amout of Combine
  
• A losing variable (Odessa dies)
  
• An increase in difficulty over time
  
• A terminal to teleport in more friendly meatbags
  
• A couple of turrets for you to throw around
  
• This weird thingamajig inside the cargo hold
  
• A plethora of nodegraphs
  
• A couple of cubemaps
  
• Snow
  
• No way to win :D
