So as I was playing around in Maroon Valley, I discovered this exploit that takes advantage of the launchpads. As seen in the video below, if you shield right after you get launched, you will become suspended in the air at a higher elevation and have the ability to dash in any direction from this point. As seen in the video I used this exploit to get onto a platform that you would not be able to get on in this way otherwise.

So the Steps to execute this exploit are:

1. Jump off of launchpad
   
2. Shield to suspend in the air
   
3. Dash in the desired direction
