June 2015 | The Beginning
June 24th, 2015, The birth of the first Babbie. Named shwepp and came from planet CZ-73.

Only took a matter of days until more and more Babbies have been birthed into a supreme being.
June 2015 - February 2016 | Babbie Squad
Babbie Squad was a collaborative effort between friends, Electron, Bille, Bordah, Tempo, Will1e, RoySaiYan and multiple more ametuer players all competing for a permanent spor on the Babbie Squad roster.

The Team was founded by shwepp on June 24th, 2015.
The name comes from something a hobo was selling, one cooked Babbie.

The original intentions of Babbie Squad was to invade Garrys Mod Servers and reign supreme, shortly after Babbie Squad lost popularity among older servers they switched over to Counter Strike.
Days and weeks went by with no news coming from the Babbie Squad members and nobody expected it to go anywhere.

Later in 2015 Babbie Squad hopped into Counter Strike publically, with shwepp being the team captain/IGL. At this time the team was not concrete, usually playing with only 2-3 players on a 5 person team.

February 2016 - June 2018 | Tripl S aka Scaredy Squirrel Sniopers (Defunct)
VAC BANNING BILLE AND WILL1E
On September 23, 2017, team members Bille and Will1e were accused, and ultimately VAC banned for alleged use of bunny hopping scripts. While the truth is unknown, and no hard evidence has come up, both will1e and bill1e are now using new accounts with their moms phone numbers to counteract the fateful day of reckoning. Overwatch strikes another pair of innocent men.

THE DOWNFALL
The team was widely known to be successful team under Tripl S, from tournament winning streaks to being nearly an unstoppable force. But cracks were starting to appear.
The team went on a major losing streak that lasted from the 21st of April up until mid June 2018. Not winning a single series, the team ended up disbanding.

BUYOUT OF TRIPL S
On June 25th, 2018, Tripl S was offered a large contract to buyout their current roster. With Tripl S suffering in each of their tournaments it was clearly a good offer. After each player recieved their $5 for joining Prism they were quickly assigned proper roles and were given training to assist their overall rankings.

June 2018 - August 2020 & January 2022 - February 2024 | Team Prism
The Forming of Team Prism
Until a couple weeks later, the former Tripl S team was picked up by Team Prism and they haven't looked back since. B1lle, along with Shwepp, Bordah, Tempo, E1ectron, W1lle, and Roy, the team grew even bigger than before and now they are one of the juggernaut Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams. Team Prism proved to the world that they did belong in the competitive scene, and in doing so they went on a 5 tournament winning streak. The team is currently undefeated in BO5 games, something that has never been done before in the history of Global Offensive.

Scary Times
With all the success that came to Team Prism, the players didn't know that it would take a very drastic turn. Both w1lle and Roy would both step down from the active roster in the Summer of 2018 while Shwepp and Tempo would go inactive in early July. With only Bordah, B1lle and E1ectron left on the active roster, the team desperately looked for two stand-ins for the inactive players. This made Team Prism fans a bit worried about the team's future, as at the time the team was still only a few weeks old, people thought that it was already the end for them. This was Team Prism's darkest time, when they didn't have a full team roster and was nearing the brink of a disbandment.

The Uprising of Team Prism
On July 26th, 2018. Nearly 3 weeks after Shwepp and Tempo, along with W1lle and Roy all announced their inactivity from the team and CS:GO in general, came back. The trio of Tempo,
Shwepp and W1lle all returned to the active roster while Roy would take on the role as the team's general manager. This resulted in very positive and eye-opening results as a team, after just 5 month, Team Prism went on to win almost every tournament that they have entered only losing one series winning 1 game out of 3. (16-7W/19-17L/22-20L)
Prism would then go on to take on the best team in their division , sweeping them in a grueling BO5 series. (16-5W/16-7W/16-10W)
The team hasn't looked back since and they plan to go on to play the game for as long as they can. Team Prism currently holds a 42-19 W/L record, and hopes to continue their success as a team in the near future. Team Prism has one of the best fan bases in the eSports community with almost 1 in 10 CS:GO eSports fans being a Prism fan, whether they're playing in North America, or anywhere else, Prism fans still come to support the team they now call, the new NA hope.

The Free-Fall of Team Prism and Eventual Disbanding
On August 26th, 2020, Team Prism would disband their CS:GO roster due to loss of drive for the game. Due to popular rumour, the majority Team Prism would receive beta keys for the newest FPS game VALORANT during it's release in early April, 2020, and this would birth a new love for the world of FPS. Team Prisms' love for CS:GO would start to crumble as this new game started taking over not only their lives, but other peoples lives all around the world. Although this may be the case, some of the Team Prism members are still tied to the team in their respective games as July of 2020, "tempO" would then enter the world of Overwatch and this game would end up taking up his time away from CS:GO even more. While members "bordah" and "RoySaiYan" would re-enter the Rift, more known as League of Legends. "Shwepp" would continue his journey in Dota 2. Fast forward to late August, the roster of Team Prism would end up making the ultimate decision, disbanding from their original game. CS:GO changed the lives of these players, changed in a way that can never be taken away from them, their achievements, and memories are moments in their lives that will last a lifetime and none of this could've been possible without stepping in the world known as Counter Strike: Global Offensive.

The departure of one of the longest tenured teammate, wHIP: Mid 2020 Date Unknown
The first, and quite real departure of one of Team Prism's longest tenured player. A player who has been with the team longer than some of the current players, ever since the very early Babbie Squad days. wHIP, has left the server due to unknown reasons, possibly due to a lack of interest in the game as Team Prism was at it's lowest. The date in which wHIP decided to leave is currently unknown, as the last game they played together is also unknown, all we can assume is that it was during the time in which Team Prism CS:GO disbanded, leaving a mark in the CS:GO landscape.

The Return: January 2022 - Present
We came back to frick stuff up.

The Unstoppable Streak: February 2022 - March 2022
During this period, Team Prism was on quite possibly the greatest win streak in modern day NA Counter-Strike. They would win against any challenger, despite the map advantage their opponents may hold against the Prism boys, they always came out on top. During this time, they were near untouchable, going as far as completely sweeping the opposition, to allowing their adversaries to a single round win. Prism would strike fear onto their opposers as soon as they entered the server. "Oh f*ck, it's Team Prism." are the famous words of some of Team Prism's opponents, as they would go onto quite literally annihilating them. This version of Team Prism was arguably it's strongest. Or was it?

The Greatest CS:GO Team ever assembled: April 2022 - May 2022
Now, this point in Team Prism's history may not have been as dominant as the previous. Though, it was the Team Prism that had finally fulfilled it's true destiny. This version of Team Prism would see 5/6 players finally acquiring the illusive, "Gold Nova 1" rank. A rank that has eluded the full roster for years. The team would go on to lose more games than usual, but they were still a great team that won almost every BO3 and BO5 series they encountered.

The Question Mark: May 2022 - June 2022
At this point, Team Prism's cracks started to lightly show. Although they were still winning, they were playing less, still a fair amount but definitely much lower than previous times. Was this going to be a repeat of the summer of 202 where we saw the team playing less, which then ultimately ended with the disbandment of the team? At this point, 3/5 players who were once Gold Nova 1, have lost that title, though still fighting to re-acquire the illustrious rank. Some of the players spoke to multiple gaming news sites, such as Dexerto, to ask what's been going on with the team and why they haven't been playing as much, why they haven't been as driven lately. They responded, with Minecraft.

The Renaissance: July 2022 - November 2022
The renaissance age of Team Prism. Or as we like to call, the revival. This is when Team Prism finally came back to life, as they fought their ways to the top of Master Guardian. The skill of Prism became so strong they became nearly untouchable in an almost 10 game winning streak that would eventually end in a very close 7-9 game. Currently, Team Prism stands very tall as they are stronger than ever. At this point we ask, who can really stop them?

The Second Renaissance: May 2023 - October 2023
The second renaissance of Team Prism. Or as we like to call, the new beginning. This era of Team Prism is heavily described as a completely new team, yet filled with the same players, as they venture into a new game known as BattleBit. Although still playing CS very casually, the team as switched focus to playing BattleBit ultra competitively. The Prism gang would call on recruits known as Albert and Sy to join them in the new roster, along with a very familiar face, wHIP, to join them as well.Senior President, Roy, partnering with SgtOkiDoki and Vilaskis, would officially sign the massive $15 million dollar deal, inking them to deals that far exceeds any amount signed by their CS:GO careers. CS:GO looking to be in the rear-view mirror.

September 2023 - February 2024 | The Finale of Team Prism
The Rumours | December 2019 - February 2024
Rumours dating back to as far as late 2019 regarding the trade between Team Prism's CS:GO squad returning to the Babbie Squad moniker, though all deals since have either fallen through or have simply just been rumours made from thin air. These rumours not only brought light to the whole CS scene about North America's best team going back to Babbie Squad, their original team, but also whether or not they would keep their entire lineup the same or not. These rumours have been in the talks in the community for years now, only now did these rumours come into fruition. Though, not the way anybody ever expected.

The Release of CS2 and the arrival of 2 superstars | September 2023 - Present
The release of CS2 shook up the whole roster of Team Prism, though for the most part for the better. This included former star Smash Bros player for Prism "Pillow Sammich" to make his long awaited debut for the team and struck fire into Prism's backend of the rotation, providing fire power that most teams do not have in a 6th player role. Pillow Sammich made waves within the CS2 community in such little time which included a stunning 1v5 attempt in which he would take 4 members of the opposition before falling to the fifth, as well as being a swift user with the Desert Eagle. With the addition of Pillow Sammich, Team Prism has grown much stronger, as well as giving it's regular squad more days off to rest from the nights and days of hardcore gaming and competing.

With the addition of Pillow Sammich, came the arrival of the world renowned FPS player, "Bert". This signing shocked the system of the Counter-Strike world, as Bert became one of the most sought-after free agents since his announcement to take his talents to the release of CS2. Team Prism took this opportunity as soon as they could and paid his buyout from his previous team, without doing-so, Team Prism would've risked Bert possibly signing to another team. A risk they, the management, as well as their players did not want to take. Bert made instant waves, alongside Pillow Sammich, he has blown the minds of not just Prism's members, but of the CS2 world. Bert came onto the team with a few questionmarks, being from mainly other FPS games, could he transfer that skill to CS2? With time, Bert both quietly and loudly became one of Prism's most imporved player, honing an HLTV rating of 0.95 in his first month, to an incredible 1.10 rating. With Bert improving on the daily, fans feel like its only a matter of time before he gets even more playing time.

The Foundation | February 2024 - Present
Quietly during the faithful night of February 4th, 2024, the foundation of BSPF started to take place. Team member shwepp, along with only a few players that night were the only ones awake and they all decided, "tonight was the night". The few members started discussing about their roots in Babbie Squad and their evolution in Team Prism, and how that Babbie Squad was the essential root in the big tree that is their entire CS careers. Starting off as just some no-names in the large, vast, and daunting world of CS:GO, they knew they were made for this challenge. That night, the team surcame to the rumours and discussed a possible merging between the two eSports giants of Babbie Squad and Team Prism. And so, the decision was made and sent into the higher ups, and it was set. The deal was made. And was to be announced shortly after paperwork had to be done by the Manager, laraokk and her right-hand man in command, Coach Roy. History was about to be made.
February 2024 - Present | Babbie Squad Prism Force (BSPF)
Babbie Squad Prism Force | February 2024 - Present
On February 5th, the deal was done. The ultimate merge was complete, and was sent in. Team Prism agreed to the package deal which saw them send thier players, shwepp, BillE, Kreamy (fka Bordah), ITS TIME (fka tempO), NinjaElectron (fka e1ectron), fent cart (fka cubed), as well as the new pickups of Pillow Sammich and Bert, along with lara and Roy to Babbie Squad and combine assest to merge companies and become the Babbie Squad Prism Force. With this move, shockwaves were sent around the CS2 community as they saw a juggernaut form, an actual Colossus that would make Cloud9 shiver in their boots. A team that would become a dynasty that would conquer majors and secure multiple championships that would make even teams like Astralis and NAVI look small in comparison. They wanted every bit of smoke possible, and were ready to dish out 10 times more than it. The team was tested in their first ever tournament under this moniker, and was swiftly swept in the "Road to Launders LAN" on March 2nd, 13-10 on Nuke, and 13-3 on Vertigo. Most think this match was a fluke, as most players weren't used to the crazy timezone they were playing in, though an ugly loss, they remained with their heads held up high and vowed to come back with a vengeance sooner or later. Since then, they have practiced numerous times, seeing each player get more playing time, and as well as learning the game much more than they did before. BSPF has become such an integral part in not only the Team Prism and Babbie Squad history, but have become such an integral part and a bigger branch in the entirety of the history of CS:GO/CS2.
Minor League Teams (Yeezy Luck, Gay Potter, L.O.S.E)
During the players time as professional CS:GO players, they have faced multiple small buyouts for trialling periods during multiple tournaments throughout the year.

These buyouts were somewhat small and usually never lasted more than a couple months at a time.
Some of the aliases used were:

  • Yeezy Luck;
Was a team that Team Prism transferred the trio of Bordah, Tempo, and Bille to as trial but was transferred back a couple weeks later after playing only in tournaments placing 5th-8th and 3rd-4th respectively. Team Prism ultimately would buyout the team, players Bille and Pillow, are both currently on the team who now compete for Prism's Smash Bros team, while Bille and Tempo occasionally play in various Brawlhalla Tournaments.
  • Gay Potter;
Used for less than a week until it was put aside (for now) by owner, Bordah.
  • L.O.S.E;
A very new minor league team that consisted of Voltar, Doctor Frogg, Red Menace and Doomageddon. Te team was formerly know as Team Prism's developmental (Junior) team through December 2017 to February 2018. The team as since disbanded in March of 2018.
