Introduction
These are just a few pieces of poetry, created for a bit of amusement after playing the game "Rust".

I can’t bear it
I was running through the wildlands,
The cool wind streaming through my hair,
It was a day of peace and happiness,
But then I was seen by a wild bear!

I ran as fast as my legs would carry me,
Until it felt like my heart would burst;
However, the bear was faster than I was,
Oh my God, the pain! It was the worst!

So, if you intend to commune with nature,
And, into the wilderness, you go for a run,
You should think of all the dangers there,
And try to remember to bring your gun!
A rude awakening
I woke up in a strange land,
Feeling cold from head to toes;
And it was hardly any wonder —
As I was missing all my clothes!

All I had was a hand-made torch
And a round-shaped little rock;
My mind was completely confused,
It was like I was going into shock

I obviously needed some assistance
To get my life back on its track;
So I looked around and searched,
And then I found a rustic shack

My troubles would soon be over,
A place of friendship I had located;
But then I saw the sign upon a wall:
“Nakeds not welcome” it firmly stated.
My torch
This here is my torch,
And this is my rock;
To defend my home porch
I'd prefer a nice Glock

My torch is for lighting,
And the rock is for fun;
If I'm gonna be fighting
I'd prefer a good gun.

(This was written in the style of a military marching chant.)
Innocence
He looked so completely innocent,
Just a newcomer to these lands;
His stance was quite non-threatening,
There was nothing in his hands

I was feeling entirely safe right here,
There was no chance of an attack;
But wait, things are not quite right —
He’s hidden a hatchet behind his back!
The lighthouse
It was a lighthouse on a river,
Not actually located beside the sea,
But that didn’t matter much at all,
As it was a landmark of use for me

I could wander along the river banks
Or through the forests on my own;
But no matter how far I strayed,
That landmark would bring me home.
Looking odd
Things are looking odd to me
Whilst I’m sitting in my room
Could it be early dementia
Or perhaps a weird mushroom?

(This was written about how the appearance of several items in a Rust server were changing randomly. Changes happened with large crates, floor rugs, and fridges.)
Trust in Rust
I’m playing in a game of Rust,
All I have is a rock — and my feet;
I’m smashing down lots of trees,
And running away from people I meet

Three strangers ran towards me
So fast away I did race
Then I stopped, as they seemed friendly,
And they shot me right in the face

I gathered wood, rock, and metal,
Made a big base, and a gun,
Then I felt much more confident
About going out, on a run

One day I saw an ill-clad man
Chopping lots of wood from off a tree;
I shot the noob down without mercy
— So now the bastard here is me!

Super original idea! Your words should show up on loading screen of Rust every time you die.
