Fleet Tactical Battlegroup Doctrine

Descrição
The Kodai class destroyer is a class 3 warship, lighter and quicker than the Mjolnir, and the main reason for the Mjolnir's reclassification to cruiser. Best used for escort of larger capital ships, or indpendently as a patrol vessel. Interior componenets are heavily firewalled for maximum durability.

Ship design inspired by the series Space Battleship Yamato generally. This particular design is purely custom in that style, but not representative of any specific class from the series. Ship class named for tactical officer Susumu Kodai, gunnery/tactical officer and acting Captain of the Yamato after the death of Captain Okita.

The Kodai Class Destroyer is a fast escort and direct combatant ship intended for screening of fleet elements and rapid redelpoyment as needed during combat for operations under the Fleet Tactical Battlegroup doctrine. All Fleet Tactical Battlegroup doctrine certified ships adhere to basic survival rules and are limited to size class 5 (Kodai class being size class 3) as the largest vessel, and scale downwards from there. While usable in single player survival, all Fleet Tactical Battlegroup doctrine ships shine brightest when used in multiplayer with a team of players. All ships are MP and PvP ready, having heavily firewalled internal components and dual bridges (one bridge for normal flight/PvE, secondary bridge internally for PvP called a "battle bridge").

Update: Minor cosmetic fixes and changes. Center hull paint job extended slightly to each side. Forward wing sensor pods changed to face forwards.
