Do note that this setting affects ALL NPCs, as do the rest of the settings in that submenu, and you will need to disable the setting if you want NPCs to use their default settings again. Make sure ai_disabled and ignore_player are set to 0 (disabled), you can toggle them in the NPC submenu as well, it'll display a tick if enabled and sends a message in chat every time it's changed to confim.
