Hello Drifters!

I decided to introduce the quiver to improve a little the archer role in these lands and why not, add a little variety to our play style.
The Quiver can be equipped in your backpack slot and allows you to store the necessary amount of arrows/bolts to go on a hunt or adventure without running out so fast of bolts.

Quiver Stats
  • Athletics: +10% (to allow archers more mobility and counterbalance the fact that carrying arrows increase encumbrance which lower running speed).
  • Stealth/Dodge: -10% (all those arrows clunking around give you away).
  • Combat speed: +10% (movement speed).
  • Storage size: 2x5 storage. You can stack up to 9 of the same bolt in the quiver.
  • Value: c.1000. An economic choice for the drifter.

CRAFT / RESEARCH

Research included in "Crossbow Bolts" research. Once you learn that, you will unlock the quiver.
The Quiver can be crafted in the Arrow Making Bench. This bench has a vanilla requirement for 1 bread to craft anything on it and I didn't modify this.

Location

The Quiver may respawn in many vendors that have for sale crossbows, including The Hub's bar. I won't go on detail, find it in your adventure!

Yea, should def add something to crossbow skill or precision shooting otherwise it's just for looks because a backpack mod would be way better for storing arrows

Its a great mod. I would love it if it would add some + towards archery itself, like 1.1x crossbow or 1.1 percenption or something like that.
With the stats rn its more something for an martial arts soldier r something.

i did not remember i added this mod lol, i even thought that the quiver is a vanilla item, it fits perfectly in the game

Because he hates the crust so much, that on a random day, he was eating his morning breakfast, hollowed out a loaf to eat the soft innards, and decided to use the intolerable remains when he set out to find some real food. Those hollowed remains were said to only be good enough use to him to keep his arrows organized, but the trek across the land with it on his back made him quiver... Thus: The Kenshi quiver was born! We now must sacrifice bread in his honor before we are allowed to make one for ourselves, so that we too can feel the hatred for bread crust and crumbs whilst we search for the truer treat: meat.

@Flamekeeper, good question! Because I used the vanilla bench requirement, and it was bread, I'm not sure if this was updated afterwards in new updates in the game, but it was like this in 0.9xx :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

just out of curiosity why did you choose bread and not leather?
