Team/Faction Colors

Descriere
Do you want to have a team battle? Are you having issues with other team members not obeying your instructions and choosing another color or skin than you want them to use?

Well, I have a solution for you... Team Colors

What does this mod do?
It removes the default skins, and when a player joins a faction, it forces their suit color to what you specify, until they leave the faction. If they leave the faction, their original color is restored.

How do you set a faction color?
Enter your desired color in the Faction Private Info box, for example: [Color=Red]

The following color names are recognized:
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Black, White, Gray (Grey)

If you don't like any of those, you can choose any RGB value, by using the following format: [Color=RRGGBB], substituting RR, GG, and BB for the appropriate hex codes. You can find HTML color wheels online which will give you numbers you can input here.

Notes:
I can't change models in the ModAPI, so enforcing a specific suit is difficult, if not 100% impossible.
Modded suits are not disabled. If you want to add modded suits that are colorable, they will work.
Included are both a male and female engineer suit (not-skinnable).

1. Removal of skins is intentional, and listed in the description above. Not all suits support coloring, which is why they're all removed. Since I can't selectively remove skins, this will not change.
2. World saving issues is a recent bug I discovered in the game, and I have reported it to Keen for fixing. Workaround is to select one of the vanilla player models before saving. All players need to do this actually.

I've identified two problems, probably caused by the latest update;
1. Suits are no longer "supported." It still colors everything, but whenever I equip any skins they don't appear, just the default old suit.
2. Removing it from my world (which I tried to do because of the problem above) makes it so the world no longer saves, meaning as long as I'm in a faction, I can't wear my cool Fiber suit.

Please fix.

So can someone make a faction just for admins and have the suit color red?

yea it would be great for RP like servers to have a mod like that

Why is this not a game feature? It would make multiplayer so much easier!

This is a great idea, it's a pity you can't force a specific suit but even without that it will greatly cut down on the hassles of getting people to wear their team colours :)

is there a way to force a modded skin on players or is that not possible?
Korvatus Klok 22 aug. 2018 la 16:49
What would be great is it you can force color themes for the block color pallets.

This would be nice. I hate re-doing my suit due to server regulations, so having it forced to the defaults for that server only sounds great.
