"Skidvar's CAP - Changing Capitals" allows players to change the starting capital any turn by moving the faction leader into another settlement, triggering a dilemma that gives the option to move to that settlement for 5000 from the faction treasury.

In other words, if you move with your faction leader into a settlement that is not your capital, you will get the option to change your capital to this place. If you wanted to move back, just go to your former capital.

Compatibility
Required items: Skidvar's Vanilla Scripts. More info there. I cannot port this over to Attila, so don't bother with that question.

Mr creator of this mod...Thanks so much for this campaign enhancer mod. Worked like magic with including the mother mod: Skidvar's Vanilla Scripts. I highly appreciate all your wonderful mods.

If your Capital isn't connected to a seaport by Owned land between You wont be able to trade with all other connected to the sea.

Only those at your capitals border.

Say if you play Sparta, if you let Athena be your capital can never connect to a seaport for they are in the way. If you just go past them and take a seaport above your capital stands disconnected to your empire, therefore trade routes can't connect to the heart of your empire

Playing as Massalia I always abandon my capital city usually to take some place remote like Cyrene.

But just out of curiosity why is moving capitals useful? :lunar2020halodragon:

It used to work and now its not, I removed other mods and reinstalled the mod, still not working :(

lol it wasnt my leader... but i tried again with my leader and no pop ups.

only have two mods, this and the script. load order 1 > script 2 > this mod. Is it save game compatible? if so, is there a way to trigger it asking me to change the capital?

it doesnt work for me :(

i have this mod and Skidvar`s Vanilla Scripts enabled but if i move my leader to any town i dont get a dilemma ...

i am playing sparta in normal campaign, gameis on recent patch version
