Introduction to The Guide
Hey everyone, thanks for taking the time to read my guide! I want to let you all in on some information, so you know what to do and there is no confusion. I am human so there may be some mistakes or some inaccuracies within this guide, don't worry! If you spot a mistake please notify me in the comments section and I will try to fix it. I hope you all enjoy this guide and that it helps you run your game on 60 FPS. Please also note that this will work with Dead Space 1 aswell, provided you substitute dead space 2 for 1 in the relevant steps.

Before you start!
Check that you have disabled in-game v-sync. If it's enabled, disable it and see if your game will run at 60FPS. If you're still getting 30FPS, proceed with the guide.

This may not work if your PC doesn't have the hardware capability to run the game at 60 FPS (duh)
This will work for the original Dead Space, given you change what you select in step 4.
Feel free to leave a comment about possible concerns, and don't be afraid to ask questions! No question is dumb!
Step 1
Go to your desktop and right click. This should bring up a window, select Nvidia Control Panel and open it.
Step 2
Once you have opened up the control panel, select the tab labelled Manage 3D Settings.
Step 3
Select the tab labelled as Program Settings.
Step 4
Click on the drop down box as shown in the image, and browse for the location of Dead Space 2. It might not be there, so you may have to click the add button.
Step 5
Once you've selected Dead Space 2, scroll down to the very bottom and find vertical sync. Select vertical sync and enable it.
Step 6
Go in-game, and make sure that the in-game vertical sync is disabled. Once this is done, restart the game. If you ignore this step then you will still be stuck on 30 FPS.
Concluding the Guide.
Hello all, I hope my guide helped you. If you followed all of the steps correctly, then your game should be running at 60 FPS! If for some unfortunate reason that your game is still capped at 30 FPS, re-read the steps carefully and if that doesn't work, consult help from other sources like google and/or youtube. All the best and I hope you enjoy 60 FPS glory on this amazing game.

Chill doesn't control the frame rate on radeon? On nvidia I use global vsync and triple buffering on, max frame rate a few frames below my monitor refresh and gsync enabled and everything feels good. Just disable in-game frame limits and in-game vsync.
