Phase Pilot from titanfall 2

Another TF|2 pilot for sfm, featuring a nearly entirely bodygroupable body, from the scarf to his gear. Everything that isnt bodygroupable can be hidden using the scale slider. This guy, unlike the stim pilot, actually has foot bones, meaning you can have a lower body IK. However, "shouldmid" bone will block autorigger from rigging arms (See issues).

This model has normal maps, phongmaps, and self illuminated textures for the body. I left the head unilt so that you could put lights on it yourself, and choose the pilots light color (it was that or white lights). You can do this by turning on Uber light in the element viewer. You can do that by right clicking on the light, and selecting show animationset in elementviewer, then extending the light catagory. I'd recommend looking at a reference to light his face. Just lock the lights to his head afterwards. (Note that the "head" bone actually controls the fur tails on his head. His actual head bone is Jx neck b or something)

Also, thanks to Sync1211 (https:// /vrcmods.com/user/sync1211) for actually ripping these from the game. I just ported it from unity to blender to sfm, and cannot take any credit for creating these guys. And no, I can't rip titanfall models without actually having TF|2 on PC; I only have it on console and im not buying it twice

Issues:

As mentioned, the optic is not self lit, you have to put a light on it. Then, you can choose the color of the pilot's light. You can then lock the light's transform to the character's head, or in this case, the neck bone.

The model "IKfriendly" is a bit broken; It's elbows dont follow its arm, and are controlled by "blender implicit". This is because this model does not have "shoulder mid", which that piece of the arm was assigned to. The reason I included this broken model is so that you can use autorigger on it (without having the bone block the chain find for the arms). After you finish animating in ik with the model, just remove the rig, copy the animation onto normal model, and drag the forearm back into place with the red arrow.

Alternatively, you could just animate the arms without a rig using the normal model (FK masterrace)

I don't own any rights to Titanfall 2

I honestly think adding a light to the head, no, it doesn't work. Just have the light spawn on the model.

you would have to spawn in a light and make it the color you want, then aim it over his face. sorry

How do i change the light color on his face?

right click on a blank space of the left side list, and click create light

I've got the same problem

i may have the same issue as aBUCKET but for me it's like, a majority of the body is transparent, the head and gears seems fine but the rest, no

yea, that's the IK friendly one. That's working as "intended". I talked about how to "fix it" at the bottom of the description
