How to boost FPS in MSC.

The game is awesome but the optimization is not so awesome so i decided imma teach you how to boost your performance so that the game is enjoyable! Here's where i get off.

//2020// I haven't touched the guide since the day it was posted. I may update it someday, but as for now - most of the stuff in the guide should work, pm me if you find something that you wanna share! -Atila

1.What will you need?

First and most importantly, the game - purchased and playable via Steam.
Second, you'll need a keyboard, a mouse, a computer, monitor and internet which you probably have if we mind that you're reading this.
Third but not last you'll need some brain in that head, so yeah...

2. Preparation.

I am showing a 2 way method, if the first doesn't the second should and vice versa. I'm not saying you should kill yourself if both methods don't work but yeah. Let's do this - on to the next Step.

3. Method #1 | OpenGL |

Method one (OpenGL)
1. The first thing you are going to do is open up your Steam library, find My Summer Car, press right mouse button and select the last option - properties.
2. The second thing is in the properties menu, under general you are going to click the button that says "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS" and then a window should open up.
3. This window is actually a text box from where we're telling our game to launch itself with OpenGL, so what you're going to do is type this text: "-force-opengl", then you click ok and you open the game.
4. If there was an effect you could go from the guide but if you still have no fps and you're thinking this guy's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot, then go to Method #2 | DirectX |

Method two (DirectX)
1. The first thing you are going to do is open up your Steam library, find My Summer Car, press right mouse button and select the last option - properties.

4.I really hope this works. If it works a little bit you should check the tricks ingame to boost your fps!

5. Ingame Tricks that everyone knows.

1. I dont actually know all of them so the most popular one is when you load, take a look around the house and turn off all the lights. Since the game is not optimised these help the bad fps to take over you extreme computer.

This is actually my first guide, and i hope it really works out for you. I really want to say thanks to everybody that has given me these ideas, and to you the guys reading this.

Neither this guide or MOP increased my frame rate, how lovely.

This guide is pretty garbage imo. There's a list of 20 things I know off the top of my head to increase FPS greatly. Alas, I don't need it, so it doesn't matter to me, but there is a LOT more you could do to get a great boost to your FPS. Especially on shittier PCs.
