Rock Man X5(X)/Mega Man X5(X): Part 2
All damage values listed here are the same regardless of difficulty level.

Damage values listed on these charts assume the player does not have the "Buster Plus" part equipped for X.

For X-Buster, the three damage values are listed according to how long the weapon is charged. The first number is damage done with uncharged shots; the second number is when the weapon is charged slightly; third number is when the X-Buster is fully charged.

Damages values for the X-Buster field are the same whether the player plays as X without any armor, or is equipped with the Fourth or Ultimate Armors.

For the eight Special Weapons, the first number is damage done when the weapon is used in normal fire; the second is when the weapon is used in its charged state.

Because Dark Hold cannot be charged and therefore has no secondary fire, only one number is listed instead of two.

For Special Weapons that are capable of striking more than once, damage values on this chart are listed according to how much a weapon inflicts per hit, not the total amount of damage done.

For Dark Hold, Spiral Pegasus is the only boss that is vulnerable to it, thus more damage can be inflicted on him with this weapon using the X-Buster than on other bosses.

For U-555's second phase, oddly, it takes one less unit of damage from any attack on the first strike, but takes normal damage after that. Its stats are otherwise identical to its first and last phases.

For Shadow Devil, oddly, he takes less damage from a slightly charged X-Buster shot than a normal shot.

All damage values listed here are the same regardless of difficulty level.

Damage values listed on this chart assume the player does not have any parts -- especially "Buster Plus" or "Z-Saber Plus" -- equipped for Zero.

The chart also assumes Zero is not equipped with his Black Zero armor upgrade as well.

Once C-Sword has been learned, it will permanently replace Zero's mid-air slash for the remainder of the game.

For E-Blade, the first number is damage inflicted from the actual electric blade; the second number is damage inflicted from the streams of electricity that follow it.

For Dark Hold, Spiral Pegasus is the only boss that is vulnerable to it, thus more damage can be inflicted on him with this weapon using the Z-Saber than with other bosses.

For Twin Dream, the hologram will inflict the same amount of damage regardless of which move or technique it copies from Zero.
Rock Man X6/Mega Man X6: WARNING!!!
Mega Man X6 has some factors which make it difficult to:
-Make a good, easy order
-Make an order with as less backtracking as possible

Due to:
-Stages having parts that are randomized
-Chances of you unlocking Zero or not

This just serves as a warning, because the orders that'll be shown will not include everything...Honestly, just go with whatever order you find preferrable, because no order unlike in the previous 5 games is perfect, and you're going to backtrack anyway, if not because of Maverick stages, then because of Lab/Castle stages.

For more details about the which orders are the best for X and Zero, go here:

Rock Man X6(X)/Mega Man X6(X): Part 1

The following order assume that you're going to finish the entire game as X and not bother finding Zero. If you want to finish the entire game as Zero, check out Zero's X6 section of this guide

Rock Man X6(X)/Mega Man X6(X): Part 2
Damage values listed on these charts assume the player does not have any parts that increase attack powers of the X-Buster and Special Weapons -- such as Buster Plus, Weapon Plus and/or Power Drive -- equipped for X.

For X-Buster, the three damage values are listed according to how long the weapon is charged. The first number is damage done with uncharged shots; the second number is when the weapon is charged slightly; third number is when the X-Buster is fully charged. This statement applies for Normal X, and Ultimate Armor X.

For Z-Saber, the first number is damage done with a ground-based strike; second number is damage done while X is airborne; third number is damage inflicted with the Saber while X is on a wall.
Damage values are the same regardless of which armor X wears (or lack thereof).

For the eight Special Weapons, the first number is damage done when the weapon is used in normal fire; the second is when the weapon is used in its charged state.

For Special Weapons that are capable of striking more than once, damage values on this chart are listed according to how much a weapon inflicts per hit, not the total amount of damage done.

For Yammar Option, the two numbers for each set is damage inflicted in its normal state and charged state, respectively: first numbers are damage from contact with the dragonfly drones; second numbers are from the shots fired from them.

For Magma Blade, the first number set is damage inflicted from this weapon's normal state: first number is damage done with the Magma Blade itself; second number is damage from the fireballs that follow it.

For Ice Burst, the first number set is damage inflicted from this weapon's normal state: first number is damage done with the large ice block; second number is damage inflicted from the accompanying ice fragments.

For D-1000, if X strikes the control core of the boss with a fully charged X-Buster shot or a slash from the Z-Saber, it will fall to the ground causing 8 units of damage against it.

For High Max, this boss will be invincible to all attacks when confronting him in the beginning of the game - the player must wait it out until the battle ends. In order to inflict any damage to him in any other encounters, X must first strike him with a Charge Shot from the X-Buster, then following it up with a Special Weapon.
As Shadowed Armored X cannot use Special Weapons, striking High Max with a Charge Shot will instantly damage him.
Oddly, when confronting High Max in Gate's Fortress, if Shadow Armored X happens to destroy one of his shields and stun him at the same time, he can actually take damage from the Z-Saber. Strangely, X can also inflict different amounts of damage from the Z-Saber swing from a fully-charged X-Buster using this same method: when on the ground, it inflicts 3 units of damage; while airborne, it inflicts 4.

For Nightmare Snake, oddly, it takes one less unit of damage from any attack on the first strike, but takes normal damage after that.

For Dynamo, if Shadow Armored X strikes him with the energy crescent tip from the energy slash from a fully-charged X-Buster shot, it will stun him for a moment. Hitting Dynamo again with the same attack while stunned will cause him to drop a green Nightmare Soul worth 200 Souls.

For Gate, no attack or Special Weapon of any kind from X can inflict any direct damage to him. However, if X destroys one of Gate's energy balls and the particles hit him, he will take 4 units of damage.

As Zero becomes a playable character after X defeats the Zero Nightmare, he will be unable to fight this boss, as well as D-1000 and High Max's first battle - under normal circumstances at least - hence the omission of their corresponding fields from this chart.

Damage values listed on this chart assume the player does not have any parts that increase attack powers of the Z-Saber and Special Weapons/Techniques -- such as Buster Plus, Saber Plus, Master Saber and/or Power Drive -- equipped for Zero.
This chart also assumes Zero is not equipped with his Black Zero armor upgrade as well.

Some bosses and minibosses do not have an invincibility period when struck, so Zero's slashes/techniques can deal a tremendous amount of damage as most of them can inflict multiple hits.

For Yammar Option, the first number is damage inflicted from contact with the dragonfly drones; second number is from the shots fired from them.

For Hyoroga, in order to preform this technique, the boss or miniboss must be fought in an area with a ceiling or floating platforms, otherwise it will be impossible for Zero to use it.

For Rakukojin, the first number is damage inflicted from the giant steel blade; second number is damage from the metal anchor created from the blade's explosion.

For Commander Yammark, swatting at one of his dragonfly drones with Zero's Z-Saber can actually deflect it back at him, stunning him and causing 3 units of damage.

For Nightmare Snake, oddly, it takes one less unit of damage from any attack on the first strike, but takes normal damage after that.

For Illumina, since the boss itself does not generate any projectiles that can be reflected with Guard Shell, in order to damage it with this weapon, the player must reflect a projectile fired from the Group Jet enemies that occasionally fly by. This method only works for the first fight.

For High Max, in order to inflict any damage to him in any encounters, Zero must first strike him with a special technique such as Shoenzan, then following it up with a standard Z-Saber Slash.
Using Sentsuizan or Ensuizan against High Max when Zero is close to him will damage him outright.

For Gate, no attack or technique of any kind from Zero can inflict any direct damage to him. However, if Zero destroys one of Gate's energy balls and the particles hit him, he will take 4 units of damage.

So, I'll just list the bosses' "official" weaknesses, and the only reason I am listing "official" weakness, rather than a more powerful weapon, is that the "officials" cancel out and reset any boss's attack cycle. In all honesty though, spam Charged Buster Shot on EVERYTHING. Really, it's THAT effective.

All damage values listed here are the same regardless of difficulty level.

Damage values listed on this chart assume the player does not have any parts that increase attack powers of the X-Buster—such as Power Plus α, Power Plus β -- equipped for X

For X-Buster, the first number is damage done with uncharged shots; the second number is when the weapon is charged to the first level; the third number is when the weapon is charged to the second level; the fourth number is when the X-Buster is fully charged. The fifth number is damage from the homing bullets when X is equipped with Glide Armor's Buster part.

Damages values for the X-Buster field are the same whether the player plays as X without any armor, or is equipped with the Glide Armor.

For the eight Special Weapons, the first number is damage done when the weapon is used in normal fire; the second is when the weapon is used in its charged state.

For Circle Blaze, the flame shot and the explosion that it generates deal the same damage. This applies for both uncharged and charged version.

For Moving Wheel, the third number is damage from the explosion that it generates when fired in charged state.

For Sniper Missile, the third number is damage from the explosion that it generates when fired in charged state. The explosion will sometimes deal three units of damage instead of two.

Sometimes, hitting a boss will not cause it to go into their invincibility period, this is more of a glitch that often occurs, so if this happens, some Special Weapons can inflict multiple hits.

Volt Tornado(1:12) or Explosion(9:13)
Red(Crimson Palace)
Explosion(5:10)
The Professor/Sigma 1st Phase(Crimson Palace)
Wind Cutter(3)
The Professor/Sigma 2nd Phase(Crimson Palace)
Splash Laser(3) or Explosion(5:10) or Gaea Shield(1)

All damage values listed here are the same regardless of difficulty level.

Damage values listed on this chart assume the player does not have any parts that increase attack powers of the Axl Bullet—such as Power Plus α, Power Plus β -- equipped for Axl.

Sometimes hitting a boss will not cause it to go into their invincibility period; this is more of a glitch that often occurs, so if this happens, some special weapon can inflict multiple hits.

For Volt Tornado, Circle Blaze and Explosion, the first number is damage inflicted by Ray Gun, Double Bullet and G-Launcher; second number is damage inflicted from the special weapon itself.

For Circle Blaze, the flame shot and the explosion that it generates deal the same damage.
Rock Man X7(Zero)/Mega Man X7(Zero)
NOTE:I don't remember much about X7 and X8. That includes collectibles' location, no backtracking order, etc., so please forgive me for this! Oh, and BTW, the damage chart is based on Japanese Version and not English one, but there isn't much difference between both of them. I'll update the guide ASAP, if I'll remember something

Order: Soldier Stonekong(Deep Forest) -> Tornado Tonion(Radio Tower) -> Splash Warfly (Battleships) -> Flame Hyenard(Lava Factory) -> Ride Boarski(Central Circuit) -> Snipe Anteator(Cyber Field) -> Wind Crowrang(Air Force) -> Vanishing Gungaroo(Tunnel Base)

No Backtracking(If I remember correctly)

To be honest, all of the weapons do a fixed amount of damage. For example, Raijinshou deals 12 damage to ALL THE BOSSES IN THE GAME(with exception to Splash Warfly(18) and Mole Bore(24)). So, I'll just list the bosses' "official" weaknesses, and the only reason I am listing "official" weakness, rather than a more powerful weapon, is that the "officials" cancel out and reset any boss's attack cycle. In all honesty though, spam the Raijinshou and Hiejin on EVERYTHING. Really, it's THAT effective.

Hiejin(I found out that it deals heavy damage and automatically locks onto Sigma. It's SUPER EFFECTIVE against him) or Hadangeki(6:11) or Suiretsusen(8) or Gokumonken(--)

All damage values listed here are the same regardless of difficulty level.

Damage values listed on this chart assume the player does not have any parts that increase attack powers of the Z-Saber and Special Techniques—such as Power Plus α, Power Plus β, Master Saber—equipped for Zero.

Sometimes, hitting a boss will not cause it to go into their invincibility period, this is more of a glitch that often occurs, so if this happens, Zero's slashes/techniques can inflict multiple hits.

For Z-Saber, if Zero is equipped with Saber Combo+ parts, the fifth and sixth slash deal the same damage as the third and fourth slash.

For Hadangeki, Hieijin, Zankourin, Souenbu, the first number is damage done with the Z-Saber/V-Hanger itself; second number is damage from the projectile that come from it.

For Mega Scorpio, reflecting a laser shot back to it does 2 units of damage.

For Flame Hyenard, reflecting a fireball back to him does 2 units of damage.

For Sigma's 2nd form, reflecting a fireball or Spark Seek back to him does 6 units of damage.
Rock Man X8(X, Zero, Axl)/Mega Man X8(X, Zero, Axl)
NOTE: I couldn't find the damage values for all weapons and I have decided to make one section for all three characters

NOTE 2: I don't remember much about X7 and X8. That includes collectibles' location, no backtracking order, etc., so please forgive me for this! I'll update the guide ASAP, if I remember something

I forgot about it. I'll add the keyboard code, alongside PS/XBOX Controller codes, a bit later in Collectibles Guide Section

Any chance you know the code to fight Cut Man in X8? I am using a keyboard so I don't know what button prompts to enter at the Title Screen.

sad vile
Shmooooey  [author] 25 Jul, 2018 @ 1:55am
Correction: Vile WILL appear if Gravity Antonion is, indeed, the 3rd Maverick you face. And starting with your 4th Maverick, his appearances will be random. He might appear, he might not, who knows
Shmooooey  [author] 25 Jul, 2018 @ 1:48am
Do you mean how to trigger a fight with Vile in the Gravity Antonion's Stage, instead of dealing with Spiked Blocks? Vile appears randomly throught X8 and it depends on your luck. I also heard that, if Gravity Antonion is the 3rd Maverick you face, Vile will appear and you won't have to deal with Spiked Blocks
