[WOTC] SPARK Repair Fix

Beskrivelse
"Send the BIT to a damaged robotic ally and repair it. Advanced BITs can repair slightly more."
"Upgrading your BIT will lead to more HP repaired."
"The upgraded plated model improves the damage and healing capabilities of the BIT."
"The upgraded powered model greatly improves the damage and healing capabilities of the BIT."
– In-game description relating to the SPARK's Repair ability.

Contrary to all of the game's statements regarding how the SPARK's BIT heals more health as it advances to more effective versions, the SPARK's BIT remains at an unchanging 6 HP for the entire duration of the game.

This mod fixes the SPARK's Repair to grant more health per heal as their BIT improves.
By default, it will look like this:

BIT : 6 HP
Plated BIT: 7 HP
Powered BIT: 8 HP

This mod works both mid-campaign and mid-tactical.

This mod is compatible with NotSoLoneWolf's [WOTC] Mechatronic Warfare.

Sweet mod!

This mod is still necessary, right? This issue hasn’t been fixed in patch? (Playing WotC.)

Also, I’m just curious: why do both the game and the wiki tell you that Repair’s heal amount increases for each upgraded BIT, yet that’s not actually the case? Seems like a silly oversight on the developer’s part.

Sweet! Thank you for the reply! Wasn't sure if you were still active due to last comment being in January.

@Evmeister88 Yeah, I'm pretty sure the mods won't conflict. This mod mainly works through a few OPTC changes that don't seem to contradict with anything in Iridar's mod. But if any problems do arise, you can always come back here to resolve them.

I haven't really dived into it yet, however I noted that Iridars SPARK Arsenal says there were some BIT changes. I'm wondering if your mod will conflict at all? Mechatronic Warfare is fully supported in their mod, so maybe it will be fine.

@happyscrub I think they'll be fine together, but in case they're not, the author of that mod left a quick boolean in the config that lets you disable the mod as a sort of compatability hotfix.

I'm assuming this is not compatible with ???

@NotSoLoneWolf Apparently it already innately works with Mechatronic Warfare since the BIT is the one that's healing units. I tested it after your mod came out, and found that just using GremlinTemplate's Template.HealingBonus = x; improved Repair's heal. It'd be 4/5/6 with the base Repair, like you said, and 8/9/10 with the improved Repair.

I'm curious about how you made it compatible with MW, is it 4/5/6 HP healed?

@Udaya

I got the same effect as your mod upgrade through modifying the .ini files, so if anything, thanks for the idea.

@Compo The Smoggie It is nearly impossible for a mod as simple as this one to crash your game. All it does is add a single line in the scripts of the 3 SPARK BITs so that they apply improved healing bonuses, in the exact same fashion a GREMLIN does.
