How to Get a Sugar Daddy in Final Fantasy XIV
Av Royal
This guide will take you through a step-by-step process in-order to give you a sugar daddy in the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. This guide works for both gay males and straight females on males only. I don't believe in the urban legends of the sugar momma.

Rate up the guide if you enjoy. Or don't and stay sugarless forever.

Introduction
Welcome to my guide, and like my guide description says, I will be taking you through a step-by-step process to help you obtain a sugar daddy in Final Fantasy XIV. Please note, this guide works for only sugar daddies regardless if you're a male or female and regardless of sexual orientation. I don't know the steps to obtaining a sugar momma because I'm sadly a homosexual.

I have been playing Final Fantasy XIV since 2015, don't let my steam game hours fool you, I have twice the hours if not more. I have had three sugar daddies throughout my run of the game so far, let me show you my secrets. I have recieved from what I can recall, Heavensward Expansion DLC, at least 20 million in GIL, helped me level my crafters up and much more from these sugar daddies. So I'm well experienced with them in this game. I've also had sugar daddies in MMORPGs such as Digimon Masters Online, Maplestory and Elder Scrolls Online.
Step #1: Finding a Good Server
To begin, I recommend you create a new character or transfer your current character to a more popular server if you're not currently playing on one. You can check to see the current list of most popular servers using the XIV Census featured below.

Click the image for better quality!
This is from the XIVCensus for June 2018. Depending on how long ago this guide was made when you're viewing/reading it, it may have changed. Feel free to visit https://ffxivcensus.com to see what is currently the most populated servers at the time of your viewing.

The reason you'll want to play on these servers is because there are a wider variety of players to be your possible sugar daddy. On a side note, when making or transferring in I would recommend having a "cute" name or a typical name. An example being, to have something like "Rose" in your name. Don't name yourself after another final fantasy character, an anime character or commonly known 3rd-party video game character as everyone sees your username and thinks you're an idiot. If you're transferring in and want to change your name for free, pre-make a character on that server with your current character's name, therefore the game will force you to change your transferring-in character's name when you transfer to the server.

It also helps if you main a healer class as the vast majority of potential sugar daddies main DPS or Tank classes and are often looking for healers to queue with to get into dungeons quicker.
Step #2: Finding a Free Company and Networking
Once you make or transfer your character in, try to find a free company to join that's well populated and has at minimum 20 to 30 people online during midday. Go to a place like Gridania and examine the free companies of players you see all around you to find a suitable free company fast. In the most popular servers, this is usually very easy to find. Once you find a company, make friends with everyone and always try to involve yourself in everything your free company has to offer in-order to get everyone in the free company to like you. Try to figure out who the experienced and gil heavy players in the free company are. This is easy to do just by looking at their profile information or just flat out asking casually how much gil they have. Friend request all possible people you can see as potential sugar daddies. Add them before they add you, doing this shows to them that you 'like' them. Keep in mind, this guide is assuming you don't actually want a relationship to come from this and just want to trick people into boosting you. If you do want a relationship to come from this by all means you do you, this guide should still be able to help you, but I would give your own personal flare, if that makes sense.
Step #3: Getting Those Potential Sugar Daddies to Notice You
Now that you've spotted your potential sugar daddies there are many things you can do to get them to notice you and to like you back.

Some examples of things you can do are:
- Casually ask them if they want to party for roulettes (this works better the higher level you are, also works better if you're a healer class (for girls or twinky gays) or a tank class (for straight guys)
- Ask if they can help craft something for you, or if they can help with a crafter leves to level your crafting classes
- Befriend them on Steam or Discord (Steam recommended) and try to have a conversation with them at least once a day to establish a "connection"
- Talk about how there's a glamour item you really want but don't have the money to purchase it (if they buy it for you it shows they like you)
- Always join into conversations they're having, being as nice as possible, always agree with their statements, say things such as "lol" "<3" "x3" a lot
- If you don't have Heavensward or Stormblood DLC, ask about how you really want it, but don't have the funds to buy it and are barely scraping money to pay for your subscription.

There are many other things you can probably do to get their attention, but always try to be casual about it, don't just directly say "BUY ME THIS THANKS" you have to be 'polite' about it.

Keep repeating these activities, if you find someone constantly wanting to buy you things in-game, talk to you 24/7, etc., you just found yourself a sugar daddy. I would recommend finding 2 backup sugar daddies just encase this one flops.
Step #4: What is Your End Goal?
At this point, hopefully you have found a few potential sugar daddies, however it would be wise to pick one and just completely friend-zone the others to avoid the potential hazard of all these sugar daddies finding out about each-other. If you decide to keep them all conflict may come from it, and the worst scenario would be that they all dump you and ruin your reputation by blogging about it on Reddit or something. If you're a risk-taker feel free to keep them all, there's the possibility of it working out swimmingly. I've never tried personally, but go for it.

In addition, at this point hopefully some of these potential sugar daddies have blessed you with wonderful gifts you've asked for, helped you level your crafters and gatherers, gave you armor for classes you're leveling up or just flat out give you gil or money to buy expansions. However, there's something you need to start thinking about, and that is: "What is my end goal here?"

When you ask yourself this, you're really asking: "When will they become useless to me?" and it really depends. This guide is really going off just in-game sugar daddy activities, but if you are one of the few who want to take it a step further, you could branch out with them into other games or specifically other MMORPGs. For the sake of Final Fantasy XIV however, they really become useless after all of your crafters are leveled, you basically have 100mil in Gil, already have a giant house that's fully furnished, and you have all the current expansions. Unless you transfered in your current character and already had a decent amount of progress completed on your character, this will take awhile to get to, but it will eventually come.

Coming to mind, the only real thing that would require them to stay at this point, is if they flat out just pay your subscription for you every month or buy you future expansions or new MogStation items. Unless you wish to branch out with them into other games or platforms. The decision is yours in the end, do what you wanna do. Keep in mind, if you wish to outsource to other games with them, they will think you want to go deeper in a relationship. They might attempt to voice chat with you/video chat, and if you're pretending to be the sex you aren't, all I can say is good luck. Make sure you think out the gameplay.
Conclusion
I hope this guide aids you in your search to find someone to basically handicap you through the game. I am living proof this works as I have done this to a past Final Fantasy XIV streamer, now YouTuber who bought me the Heavensward DLC and 10 million GIL, plus additional items. If I ever come back to Final Fantasy XIV you can bet I'm finding someone to buy me the Stormblood DLC.

Thank you for reading and allowing me to educate you on how to manipulate people into liking you and buying you pretty things in the game Final Fantasy XIV. Have a blessed day and game on.

To add my own tip: Being Endearing or super chaotic can help (any way you can spin yourself to being unique/unforgettable) people know me for such and such stunts, so im not forgetable, and way more likely to be asked for things, talked about/invited to things and generally easier to give me something. Not to say try to force things, be yourself for better or for worse :)

Holy shit, i used those tactics before reading the guide but i can say from experience this works (didn't have irl $ yet but still).
FC searching like you said is a surefire way for it. Especially if the FC does not advertize itself in my experience

This sounds like a lot more work than throwing the occasional $10 at a gil site to get $3 million. Still, very informative.
