Starting Class
SHADOWBLADE
Backlash
Adrenaline
Battlestomp (-1 Polymorph/+1 Warfare)

Put 1 Point into Polymorph immediately and get Chameleon Cloak ASAP.
Then Put 2 points into Aerotheurge to get Teleport.

This Build uses a lot of Unique items that are fixed and attainable or acquired for free to reduce overall cost for your party.
Race Selection
DWARF:
Rating: 4/5
The reason you want to start with Dwarf is because of the 5% dodge chance from Sturdy perk and Petrifying Touch for Hybrid team setups. The most viable in responding to Party miscommunication fallout.

SEBILLE:
Rating: 4/5
Same reason as Elf, with the added benefit of story immersion and has the second best Tag combination in the game. Her Source skill is ok but if you ever need it with this Build, you're probably going to lose anyways.

ELF:
Rating: 3/5
Elf gets the Flesh Sacrifice skill. Great for getting that one last pip to activate chameleon cloak. Better for rigid, pre-build teamplay where everyone knows their role and is on their 5th or so playthrough.

BEAST:
Rating: 2/5
Same Reason as Dwarf, and better equipped for Hybrid team combat. But you miss out on Background Tag optimization. Although you get Beast's unique Bicorne hat Fran that gives you Terrified Immunity. Fran doesn't spawn unless Beast is in your main party. Although your co-op friend could pick him and give you his hat.

Background Tags
- Keep in mind, the viability of these tags vary depending on what the rest of your team picks.

Scholar Mystic:
Rating: 4/5
There is a quest in the game that is "unsolveable" without player knowledge cheese if you do not specifically have this combination of background tags. Scholar opens up a handful of quests that you normally wouldn't have access to.

Scholar Soldier:
Rating: 3/5
Soldier dialogue gives you a discount bonus with the Lizard soldier Merchant in Fort Joy where Saheila is. It also helps with certain quest dialogue and magister encounters. Scholar opens up a handful of quests that you normally wouldn't have access to.

Scholar Outlaw//Sebille:
Rating: 3/5
Outlaw dialogue lets you have easier access to certain parts of the game. Though someone specced in Persuade can bruteforce through the same speech checks. Scholar opens up a handful of quests that you normally wouldn't have access to.

Scholar _____:
Rating: 1/5
Scholar opens up a handful of quests that you normally woudln't have access to. Combined with any other background not mentioned above, it makes for a good support tag for Roleplay enthusiasts. But I suppose forcing you to pick Scholar defeats the purpose.

Beast(Noble Barbarian):
Rating: 0/5
To quote the blurb for the wooden spoon misc item in the game, "Useless."
THE MAGEFIST
LOADOUT:

Early Game:
Backlash: Teleport backstab move. Dont take it personnel, child.
Battle Stomp: Cone Crowd-Control.
Adrenaline: Borrow 2AP from your next turn.
Chameleon Cloak: Stealth, anti-aggro. Watch out for AoE's and anti-invisibility spells like Rain.
Cloak and Dagger: Teleport yourself without breaking Stealth.
Teleportation: A must-have on all builds. Moves your opponents, allies or items around the map.
Challenge: There is no reason to not have this in every build.

Mid Game:
Haste: Negate's slow status debuff and gives 1 extra AP for 2 turns.
Uncanny Evasion: 90% dodge. Can't dodge Magic skills.
Fortify: Prevents you from being teleported and helps with being a front line character.
Battering Ram: Knockdown.
Crippling Blow: Mostly for that -30% dodge debuff.

End Game:
Peace of Mind: Minor stat boosts and cleanses ailments.
Sawtooth Knife: Ignores Physical Armor. Pseudo-Finisher skill.
Corrupted Blade: Great debuffs and lets a healer on the team deal damage. Pseudo-Finisher skill.
Skin Graft: Resets all your skills.
Daggers Drawn: 2 source cost. Finisher skill.
- You could replace this with Mortal Blow but theres only 2 fights in the game where the 1 extra source cost and 20% auto-kill feature is justified and besides those its overkill.

MISC SKILLS:
Flurry: Dual-wield special attack skill.
Petrifying Touch/Flesh Sacrifice: Origin skill.
Dome of Protection/Break the shackles/Blinding Squall: Origin Source skill.
Source Vampirism: Feed on corpses/souls to recharge Source points.

EQUIPMENT SKILLS:
- (Helmet) Cowl of True Sight gives Dispel Illusion.
- (Ring) Revere's Ring gives Chicken Claw.
- (Ring) Shadow Prince's Signet gives Chameleon Cloak.
- (Weapon) Domoh Duroma gives Terrifying Cruelty.
- (Leggings) Luronta Temva gives Superconductor.
Level Up!
TALENTS:
Opportunist
Executioner
Parry Master
Living Armor
Leech

ATTRIBUTES:
MAX Finesse -> Wits
Memory: Whenever needed
Wits: 14
Strength: 14
Intelligence: 14

- Get Wits to 14 by the time you Escape Fort Joy. Get Str/Int to 14 once you reach Act 4. This will be necessary to find certain items for the build and equip them.

If you're feeling particulary dangerous:
"Spider's Kiss: Stately Dragon"
"Spirit of the Authority Master" + "Spirit of the Strength Master" + "Spirit of the Wits Master"

SKILLS:
Warfare: 3
Pyrokinetic: 1
Aerothurge: 2
Polymorph: 3
Scoundrel: 5
Dual-Wield: 5
- Once you Max out Dual-Wield, level Warfare and Scoundrel up evenly.
Civil Skills
- Ideally in a party controlled by 4 players there should be designated characters for Lucky Charm, Persuade, Lore and Bartering.

Thievery -> Bartering
Get thievery to 5 then level up bartering. The gold standard for Honour Difficulty runs.

Thievery = Sneak
A better all-rounder build than the above, aimed at helping your team in and out of combat.

Loremaster: 2 -> Lucky Charm: 1 -> Sneak
For when nobody has any idea what they're doing.
Equipment and ENDGAME Gear
- In terms of generic gear, You want Items with +Dual-Wield, +Finesse, +Warfare, +Scoundrel in that order.
- Look for generic Daggers with %Accuracy, +Dual-Wield and +Finesse in that order.
- Preferably all your gear and daggers should have a runeslot.
