Why of course, it was none other than MODS himself. The veritable and venerable God of Chivalry.

Yes, of course, child. You see, He is a phenomenon that appears and disappears at unpredictable times. But all players who have played this game for long enough to escape the green pits of new player hell have encountered Him at least once, or if luck was on their side, multiple times.

He is set apart from all other players as He is always a Vanguard clad in white, wielding His favourite weapon - the Zweihander, with which He shows no mercy upon His foes as He aggressively LMBs them all to the end, with a Veteran helmet and a fierce determination wherever He treads - indeed, charges - fearing no pain, no gold helmets, no Messer reskins; He challenges each and every single one of them. And He never, ever, blocks.

From this, my child, we must learn that blocking is a sign of weakness. Of fear. Of doubt. We cannot allow this. We must follow His way.


In a few cases, very few and far between indeed, has he been known to speak to the players in a given server. He uttered phrases in French, leaving our monks and scribes toiling away for years to uncover the sacred truth underlying his words. Alas, we are not worthy of His wisdom, as the meaning behind His messages escapes us to this day.
