How to fix Urban Chaos bug unable to open display bug

i found out how to fix it so when i start the launcher and then i launch the game it says unable to open to display, so all you have to do is go to your Urban Chaos file C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Urban Chaos . and right click on Fallen run the troubleshooter and click troubleshoot program, and then it will display multiple choices, choose the program opens but doesnt display correctly and click next and after that it will show multiple choices again , choose the program starts up in a small window (640x480) and wont switch to full screen then click next and test the program the resolution will be switched to 640x480 only when you play the game so now you can play the game normally but not in other reslutions as far as i know for this problem

I found an even better way that allows you to play at high resolutions. There is an Urban Chaos Widescreen Fix patch online. You unpack it, select one of the two folders corresponding to the diagonal of your screen and paste the contents to the game folder. It works for me, and I have Win10 and an invidia card.

dont recommend it sure what ever it worked with others and some wont work with them not everyone has your problem look at the first comment what did he say ? ''Man YOU MADE MY DAY WITH THIS GREAT HELP! I can't tell how much I appreciate. Thank you again and again.''
so someone's issue got solved and i had an issue and i solved with the same way i explained this guide so yeah again not everyone has your problem

thank you very much, I followed the second guide using voodo and I corrected with a comment a passage that didn't work for me maybe it will help others, thanks again!

Nothing, it doesn't work,
I tried for 2 hours.
I have windows 7 with Nvidia 780TI, before I installed it in D: done your procedure and it told me that I didn't find the CD, then I followed to the letter the steps installing in C: and when I try to do the option for troubleshooting the test does not start and if I go on it remains a "compatibility problem", I fiddled a bit more and even using the original CD is wrong, I changed the TXT with video card from 0 to 4 and nothing, I'm sick.
I bet if I downloaded the pirate it worked the first time.
