Exploration HQ

Exploration HQ is an advanced mobile base intended for mapping ore deposits on uninhabited planets. It comes equipped with high-yield refinery, production modules and two detachable ultralight scouts. The chassis is rugged and strong, with inverted wheels and rotating central joint to help with rough terrain. It crawls over difficult terrain with ease and it's fun to drive.

The "Speck" ultralight scouts are very fast, but difficult to fly since they have no retro-thrust. They just glide in high speed so some skill is required to pilot them.

I think this is a great chassis for a mobile base that you can further upgrade. You can replace light armor with heavy armor and add a bunch of turrets to turn it into a super-heavy tank. Good luck!

Press 3 to detach
Press 5 to reatach (you have to go deep over the piston, let it enter your cabin)
To slow down, pitch your nose up or do a slight turn. Or upgrade it with retro thrust :)
The rest is easy to figure out.
