Barking like a good boy is a very hard task. You must memorize people by smell. Get used to the usual sounds and stay alert for unusual sounds. For example. The humans parent is coming over. You smell a hint of your human and a scent of nearby death... and a hint of old people candy? BARK BARK FOOD RUFF CANDY.
Sorry. Got a little crazy there. Anyway. If theres a hint of your human on this other human, they might be safe to be around. But bark a little, just a little to send some scare into the human. If they belonged there, they wouldnt run and your human would be alerted. But dont bark too much so its not annoying or bothersome. Bark until your human is near and see if their interaction is pleasant. Refer to chapter 4, human behaviour, if you need to intervene and protect your human.

If you dont smell your human on this strange human, bark CONSTANTLY. Alert everyone in the house that a stranger is at the door or inside the house. Block a doorway and keep them trapped until one of your humans comes to see this strange person. A good boy barks when his family is threatened. But a bad boy barks all the time without reason and annoys his human.

SQUIRREL??!?!? WHERE??!?!?
Anyway. This is a very tough topic. Our mortal enemy, worse than the cat, is jumping around. Mocking you. Chittering and calling you names and your human expects you to NOT chase and NOT bark at it? What are you suppose to do? Let it talk ♥♥♥♥ about how small your tail is?

A good boy is able to keep calm and quiet. Look at your human for advice if need be. Never EVER bark or chase after a squirrel unless it endangers your human or you. Thats the only time its okay to do so. A bad boy would chase and bark at the squirrel forever. What good would that do? Imagine how upset your master would be. Imagine all the treats you would miss out on.
Stay quiet. Hold your form. Think of fire hydrants and nice trees to pee on. Ahhh! Your happy place.

You're a dog. Peeing is a great part of our life! But its also a big part of our humans life. As you could probably tell, the human doesnt like you peeing in the house or on the carpet and prefers that you pee outside.
Yes thats right. The place where you run and play is the place where you pee. Thats not quite fair, i know. But it keeps the human happy, and thats the main goal of being a good boy.
When outside, peeing on anything is usually allowed. Grass, Trees and bushes. But memorize your favorite spots and what spots the human seems to be upset about when you pee on them.
So called "grills" and patios seem to be off limits. Along with their machine horses that they ride inside of. Keep in mind. If youre a good boy, they wont turn you into a machine horse and ride inside of you. I dont have much research on "cars" but i believe thats what happened to bad boys.
The punishment is much greater than you thought.
