Bar a few objects that could use some smoothing and the lava that changes its brightness depending on from what angle you look at it, overall it's a very fun map.

But I find it kinda odd that a heavy blizzard would chip away so much health - it's a bit silly really and breaks the immersiveness. If you'd replace the blizzard with a hail however, that would make much more sense and would actually make me go back into the cave.

After all, you don't want literal ice blocks coming from the sky to crack your head open, now would you?

Hey man, this map is really cool! I see that guy below complaining about it being too linear, but I thought this was totally awesome!

The aesthetic is completely amazing and I was honestly scared shitless when I first approached that main cavern area. The transparency of the ice over the lava is just perfect. I loved this map.

Would really look forward to that! I have yet to see a really good cave map in this game (at least one that works for higher difficulties) aside from maybe CrystalCaverns and one other that kind of vanished (though CrystalCaverns doesn't have the claustrophobic feel with the high ceiling). They're usually spaced too tightly or don't have a lot of pathways to escape when overwhelmed.

It's a pretty small map yes, there are just 2 ways from "lava cave" to "snow area". I would recommend to stay in one of the bigger areas during the rounds. There area no area with just one zedspawn near to it.
It is indeed an idea to expand this map.
But i won't update this one, i will create a new "Cave" map wich will contain also a lava area.
Du lack of time i'm pretty sure i can't update this one the next time, except gamebreaking bugs.

It's also far too linear, going straight from point A to point B without a variety of pathways to take to get from one point to another. This makes it far too easy to get sandwiched by zeds, without any way to escape them except trying to shoot your way through the path of least resistance (which becomes nearly impossible if there are fleshpounds/scrakes that spawn at both ends).
I didn't play it too much, maybe zeds only come from one direction (which would kind of resolve that), but it would still be nice if it had a variety of ways to escape different situations. It gives maps much more replayability when every game feels different from the last (meaning, different places to hold up, different pathways to kite, etc...)

I may just add it on my server anyways, because I love the way it looks. But under my "At Your Own Risk" section, for maps that are tougher/risky/likely early wipes on Sui+

LOVE the atmosphere of the map and especially the extreme weather feature. Unfortunately this map doesn't play too well.
This map would be AMAZING if it was expanded and especially looped around (so you could kite zeds around the map), otherwise it's extremely difficult on higher difficulties.
