ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
The Tibetan Empire was a political entity based in what is now the Tibetan plateau of Central Asia. From its foundation in the seventh century by Songtsän Gampo, Tibet grew to occupy an area from the Indian Ocean to Pakistan and central China, threatening well-established kingdoms in China and India. It became a renowned centre for Buddhism, and the religious leader of Tibet is known and revered worldwide. The Empire of Tibet lasted for over 200 years, until a civil war resulted in the Era of Fragmentation and the dissolution of the empire, sealing the fate of Tibet by weakening the former territories and opening them to foreign occupation.

In the meantime, regarding the mod: The Chorten is cool and the UA is nice if you play a religion-heavy game. The Himalayan Cavalry is... meh, it's a horse.
But the soundtrack you used for this Civ, is absolutely Celestial. Where can I find the music you used?

9142831614, your history sucks. Wencheng, who became Gampo's 5th concubine (she was at the bottom of the harem, below a shepherd's daughter) was given as tribute by a beaten, terrified Chinese emperor at Gampo's demand after Gampo ripped through Tang's army like paper on his way to Chang'an. You say Wencheng brought Tibet metallurgy. This is ironic considering Du Fu wrote of the vastly superior metalwork of the Tibetan troops, who picked up their metalworking from Persia. There's no record anywhere of Gampo calling Tang "father." Why would he after stomping China into submission?
Tell me; if Tibet "became part of China" under Tang, then why did this "part of China" sack the Chinese capital 3 times under Tang? Not even China is stupid enough to claim Tibet became part of China under Tang. Their claim, made by Hu Jintao, is that Tibet became part of China under Yuan, which is hilarious given that the Yuan Dynasty wasn't even Chinese; it was the name China gives to the MONGOL Empire.

First off, thanks for making this mod (and others!). Also, do the mountain yield bonuses conflict with the workable mountains mod?

Please leave politics out of the game.

lol, ever since the Tang dynasty when the Tang princess married Songtsan Gampo, Songtsan called Tang empire the father, him as child to them.Tibetan ruler had to gain the acceptance from Ming emperor before they become legitimate, and till the Qing dynasty, governor general from Qing court was sent to Tibet to rule along side with the monk king in Tibet, Qing sent troops help defending Tibet from Nepal invasion. If Persian empire was an empire where lords of the country was weakly aliied to the persian king counts, then the country all pay tribute to China in different dynasty would have been part of China in the western idea of empire, not to mention direct rule from the Qing court , Tibet has became part of China ever since the Tang dynasty.

You do realize that Tibet was never in China... China occupied Tibet in 1951.
