Touhou Defense of the Shrines Remixed (DotS R) is a 5v5 MOBA (Multiplayer Battle Arena) game based on Touhou Project.

DotS R is based on the Warcraft 3 DotS map, now built within Dota 2 engine and currently featuring 55 characters with custom spells, voices* and models.
The game is intended to be played as seriously as other popular MOBA titles like DotA, League of Legends, Smite etc, offering similar depth and challenge.
DotS R shares basic mechanics with Dota 2 but has been conceived with many unique takes on characters and items, creating a different experience from DotA2.

It is highly recommended that 2-3* complexity heroes are avoided until you are familiar with the game though, creating a better experience for you and other players due to better suitability.

If a character you like is beyond your current skill level, it might very well turn out to be a fulfilling quest to get to a level that does her justice.
