This is an open cockpit modded version of the Merc MX5E by jrandall
original here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1400275796
So he deserves the majority of the credit, the only changes are the cockpit and the tail fins to balance the look of the new nose, no changes made to the equipment and so the costs barely increased and the only increase in exterior dimension was 3 blocks forward hence it fits mostly anywhere the orriginal will.

Made this for myself personally, loved the ship but fly first person and wanted an interior cockpit then it turned out pretty cool so I thought I would share so here ya go ;-) a word of caution this is entirely regular glass so I DO NOT recommend going head on with bases unless you want the wind in you hair relatively quickly lol! Hope you enjoy it!

I have the same question as @Eagle67. the two dark 1x2 armored corner pieces in the cockpit are basically inside-out and the tint is on the inside. They are too dark. I've been trying to find a way to invert them. Even tried regular glass and no matter what I can't get the tinting outside so it's clear from inside. All the searches just say "rotate them" but you can't with these. Anyone have any tips?

Love this mod and overall ship. Question: I need to replace a couple of triangular glass pieces but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to get them to fit in place. Left side angled pieces. Any tips/suggestions?
