Hi everyone. This weapon is a modified version of the Thompson made to fire the .30-06 Springfield. As a result, the Thompson was transformed from a submachine gun to an assault rifle, and now has an extended range. But the downside and why it never saw service was because the gun was too heavy, about 10 pounds. Due to this, the gun was rejected in favor of the lighter SMG variant of the Thompson. This was a shame, as the Thompson Light Rifle would've been the perfect competitor to the Nazis' STG44 assault rifle. This mod is for M16 slot.

Olá a todos. Esta arma é uma versão modificada do Thompson feita para disparar munição calibre .30-06 Springfield. Como resultado, o Thompson foi transformado de uma metralhadora para um rifle de assalto e agora tem um maior alcance. Mas a desvantagem e que nunca foi utilizado no campo de batalha porque a arma era muito pesada, cerca de 10 quilos. Devido a isso, a arma foi rejeitada dando lugar a versão submetralhadora Thompson que era mais leve. Isso foi uma pena, já que o rifle Thompson modificado teria sido o concorrente perfeito para o rifle de assalto STG44 dos nazistas. Este mod é para o slot M16.
