I thought that this was BS I threw a tone of bombs over and got a few souls but the fog door remained. To hell with this I thought and ran in. One dog followed me up the stairs and I one shot halberd to the face. Turned around and the capra was ascending the stairs. To my exasperation, he had tiny bit of health. One shot and down he went. Only to be murdered by a butcher.

Well, I'm trying that next run, because Capra was PAIN till one of the dog stuck itself between pillars so I was left with only one dog and one Capra to deal with.
...i hate the dogs more than I hate bosses jumping on you while you traverse the veil...

Yeah, most people's first experience with this boss is dodging left, getting stuck between the wall, dog, and demon that all box you in if you dodge left, then they both stunlock you and kill you in 2-3 seconds max. I can see why some feel like they need to cheese it after that lol

I accidentally did this to the Asylum Demon before getting my gear on my first playthrough (I chose Black Firebombs as my gift since I was a pyromancer and figured i might want some backup juice).

Cool cheese I love stuff like this, regardless of the level of difficulty the boss is it's still fun to do stuff like this that was never intended.
