Hi im PoisonFang.I realized my first The Forest guide whas a piece of ♥♥♥♥,so I made a new,beter one.Now you can get all the info you need in this guide with a added bonus of getting a mod download site.Awesome!!!So start reading the guide become a pro and give me feedback.Theres also a section of my qeustions if some one can answer that for me,THX.

So this is the basics of the gameYour plane crashed and you have to find your son that whas taken by monsters.But the truth is no one gives a F### about him.We play this game to see what we can build and how long we can survive.
The game gets harder the longer you survive.Day 1,2,3,4...and so on.So you will have to build defensive walls and put spikes on them.This prevents the monsters from jumping over.
Youll have to check your food,water and conditions every now and then.Food and water along with energy,stamina and health are located on the bottom right corner of your screen.Conditions along with alot of other stuff and crafting is located in the book by pressing B.
Youll need a place to sleep and save.I suggest you build a log cabbin or if your scared of the monsters build in the water P.S the monsters cant swim.
In front of the broken plane are suitcases.Chop them open with your axe and youll get some starter stuff like candy bars,soda,booze and cloth to help you in the game.
Wash of the blood to avoid infection.
Build a fire to stay warm and cook food like rabbits and lizards.
You can also use lizard skin as weak armor.
Chop down trees for logs and treesap.Chop bushes for stickes and leaves.
Pick up stones if you want to build stone walls,larger fire or stuff like that.
Burn monsters for there bones.Hold E by them to pick them up and G to drop them in the fire.
Coop is also fun,beacase you have more help and you dont die instantly.Buildings get build faster and invintorys filled faster.But remember youll need more food and water then.
The book B will tell you what you need to build structures and deffensive stuff.

So this is kind of obveys that monster camps have alot of loot but are also dangerous.Monsters spawn here and patrol here alot.Yeah they F##### walk around.So i suggest you go to these camps for loot in the first few days.When there are not alot of monster or danger around.In the first few days there are no big monsters walking around,their only in the caves then.
This is kind of F#### up beacase these things are ment to scare you away and mark their territory.But what they dont tell you is that this is not your dead passengers.These are their dead fammily and friends.They take their dead and shove them in sacks and stick them on sticks to scare you away.SICK-OUS.At some camps there are caves ,but in those caves are alot of loot and weapons.Like the cave in the main monster camp takes you to the modern axe.Now there are othere entrances but this is the most known one.

So these are the things in the game that makes it harder and makes you piss your pants.In the beggining all we see unless we go int caves are skinnys and fammilys.But later big ones come out the caves and breaks your base to S### stone.So you gota fight them.The armsys and legsys are the most known but not the most dangerous.No no no,the most dangerous are...
These fat F#### things.The run,they flap and they brake your homes down.They realy piss me of but they are not so common so thats good.So heres a danger list I made from least deadly to most deadly...
1.Skinnys
2.Normal
3.Cave normal monsters
4.Monsters with crosses on them
5.legsys
6.Armsys
And then those fat F##### monsters.
Im not sure if the babys are a danger,I dont know cause you poke them and then they die so...

Yes,this is why every one plays this game.To build and survive.So heres a list of how you should build.
1.Build a house to sleep and save in.
2.Build walls,like defensive walls around your house but with a bit of space in the walls so you can still place stuff.
3.Build food racks and rain catchers againts your house.
4.Build a fire near your home or in it
5.Build spikes on your walls
6.Now build what you want and see how long you can survive.

P.S I cant realy tell you what to build beacase it depends on how you play.

You dont need to go in to caves for weapons and loot.The weapons in them are just stronger and theres alot more loot in the caves.Also youll have to go in the caves if you want to complete the story.But you can craft items to help you survive longer int The Forest.The book B shows you how to build some and most usefull stuff.And if you want to know more use google and search how to craft items.Beacase im not a F#### wizard.

1.If you hit the lady in the plane with the axe 4 times you can get her clothes.Pervy.
2.Monsters cant swim but they can drown.Wink Wink.
3.The SOS rock thing is useless.Or is it?
4.In caves there are walls you can get on to and the monsters cant.
5.Put down a wall,but dont build it stand in it and it will work like night vission.
6.Use your turtle shell to slide down hills.WEEEEE!
7.Use bombs and dinomite to chop down trees real fast.
8.Through melotovs on the dead monsters (only the normal ones) to get their bones without building a fire.
9.Skin big monsters for very strong armor.
10.Shhht this is a secret...get mods...

1.Go in to google
2.Tipe in modAPI download.
3.Click on the first one
4.there will be an option modAPI hub
5.Click on it
6.Youll get the download option
7.download it
8.Open it
9.choose wich mods you want and click on start
10.It will luanch the game
11.start a server in single or coop
12.Ok your playing now
13.Push F11
14.Youl get the mod menu
15.Pick the mods and push F11 again
16.There you go
