- you can absolutely make a rogue tank
- dumping CON has a greater effect on Rogues than previously
BUT.. Lacks a lot of Info required to "make a good character" and should be updated.
Imho, feels like half the Guide is missing..
-> This Guide should be renamed.. it does not explain how to make a good build
New players reading this should know:
- Race/Subrace does not matter too much
- same for Cultural Background
>> most important is Class and the Weapons/Skills you want to use
The Class-descriptions should have been combined with stats like here:
https://pillarsofeternity2.wiki.fextralife.com/classes
"Soloclass is easier to grasp and to play than Multiclass".. WHAT?
Honestly, that´s wrong in many ways. At least, since 4.0 Multiclass is much stronger and Singleclass forces a Playstyle on you to even compete. Not to mention profound knowledge of the mechanics. If anything, Multiclass Party is way stronger than 5x Singleclass..
@casey.skater +1 con..
Been playing this and Kingmaker the last couple of weeks and would say 9/10 in forums have this crappy attitude!
Thank you for highlighting the classes and letting players choose!
Anyway, I know there are going to be many differences, so my question is: What Is a Veteran D&D Player Unavoidably Going To Get Wrong When Assuming The Systems Are Same?
